We thought our students might become the ones being photographed in China… Turns out they were the ones approaching everyone else!
They chatted with locals, asked for photos, played football in Chinese, and even spoke Chinese around the hotel. @MEP_Excellence
Last day of the term—we made it! 🎉
What an unforgettable journey. Today our host university teachers checked in with us, and yesterday they even teared up at the airport saying goodbye, telling us how much they’ll miss us.
Our Year 9s won hearts once again. ❤️ @MEP_Excellence
We’re on the bus now, around 54 minutes away from the school. ✈️🚌
The video was edited by our two lovely Chinese teaching assistants. They put so much heart into it!@MEP_Excellence
Getting ready for the rehearsal! We’ve been practising this performance in the club for two to three months in advance. We are so proud of them.✨@MEP_Excellence
Final day of our study trip in China. We said goodbye to our Chinese language partners and exchanged gifts. Our generous Chinese peers gave our students lots of thoughtful little presents.✨
This morning we learned about Chinese cuisine. Many dishes are ones they’ve tasted over these few days, combining theory with hands‑on practice✨@MEP_Excellence
Traditional Chinese Medicine is incredibly profound. We saw cupping therapy and acupuncture! Even though our students were eager to give everything a go, they could only watch for safety reasons. Hopefully they can experience these therapies for themselves when they grow up.✨
Second‑to‑last day! We experienced tea culture in the morning and traditional Chinese medicine in the afternoon. Such an eye‑opening experience✨@MEP_Excellence
Only three days left before heading home! A little treat because they’ve been amazing throughout this trip. (Someone can‘t wait for the cake) 😂@MEP_Excellence
Exhausted after a long day they still practised hard for our final performance. Our Year 9 students are absolutely amazing for pushing through everything.✨@MEP_Excellence
Then we hit the shopping mall for a wild spree and mystery‑box shopping‑everyone went all‑in. Parents, if you receive plenty of payment alerts, just know we warned them not to go crazy. Later we also tried local food at a mall popular among Dalian residents.@MEP_Excellence
This afternoon has been incredibly packed. We shared cake and milk‑tea with our Chinese peers. (How could we skip milk‑tea while in China? )To be continued…✨@MEP_Excellence
Our star learners praised by our Chinese‑teacher this morning:✨潘瑞礼,冉宁康,蒋凯润@MEP_Excellence
