That's a wrap for 2024! We are now closed for our annual conservation clean, reopening on 15 February 2025.

Winter has arrived at Lansdown Cemetery and the grounds are looking beautiful; combined with the stunning views across the countryside it makes for a scenic winter walk.
We’re joining @HeritageFundUK to say a big #ThanksToYou to #NationalLottery players for helping fund projects like “Our Tower”, in which we reimagined our experience, refreshing the interpretation to better address the source of William Beckford’s wealth: transatlantic slavery.
We were also able to excavate a buried Grotto and bring it into the visitor experience, and install solar panels and an air source heat pump to give the building a more sustainable future.

It also confronts Beckford's complex legacy and his role in the transatlantic slave trade.
It's well worth a visit to learn more about Bath's history.
