This SBC resolution from 1998 comes to mind on a regular basis.
WHEREAS, Tolerance of serious wrong by leaders sears the conscience of the culture, spawns unrestrained immorality and lawlessness in the society, and surely results in God’s judgment (1 Kings 16:30; Isaiah 5:18-25

There is an immense need for high-quality independent journalism in the American evangelical church.
But it's oh-so-hard to find.

Maybe @SlowToWrite messed up. Maybe @DHSgov messed up. Maybe *both* messed up.
Regardless, @TPUSA's top influencer is a white nationalist with one of the worst "Christian" testimonies on the planet.

The advancement of Christianity is NOT hindered by hostile, oppressive enemies.
It IS hindered by the unholy compromises of Christians who are afraid of that hostility.
Fear of persecution is far worse than persecution itself.

Replying to @jimantle
I definitely think Obama is much more divisive than his admirers think. They are essentially blind and deaf to his condescension and it’s bizarre to me. Even more bizarre, however: MAGA and Trump apologists being outraged by Obama/Clinton’s “divisive” rhetoric without being even slightly troubled by Trump’s far worse and far more sustained rhetoric of demonization and delegitimization never mind “division.” It makes a vast amount of their panty-bunching whining seem almost pretextual (though I don’t think it is. I think a lot of it is the same kind of blindness and deafness.).

Still praying from Samuel but I want to say that some of the same ppl that are telling others that there has to be more to the story, the immigration process is complex & are giving him all the benefit of the doubt (we should) hammered us for doing the same for other immigrants

Saw this over on FB & it is so well stated I had to screenshot it. I post about DJT often & it’s not because I hate him. I don’t. He is a pitiful soul bound for hell & I pray for his soul. I post because I hate what he’s done to people, specifically Christians, who are called to be Christ’s ambassadors, the people who lovingly speak to a lost & dying world & point to The Way. But so often now the way they point to is politics, DJT. This association has caused so many lost to look away in disgust, & rightfully so. Vote if your prayers & Holy Spirit guide you, but stop defending this man, holding him up as “preserving Christian values.” It is making a mockery of that which you are trying to preserve, of Jesus. And THAT is what I hate.

Perhaps you're unfamiliar with today's Republican Party?
This election is a choice between capitalism and socialism. Democrats offer more spending, more debt, and more government. Republicans offer liberty and a government that answers to you.
Kentucky knows which side it’s on. Get out and vote on November 3rd.

"has been working ever since in good faith with a lawyer to obtain permanent legal status." This has been the case with many who have been deported. Samuel is receiving support from those who know and love him. Going forward, I hope others will receive the same amount of empathy
Update from the Seys:
“My husband Samuel Sey entered the United States legally and has been working ever since in good faith with a lawyer to obtain permanent legal status. Our family is trying to understand what went wrong in the process. In the spirit of Romans 13, our family fully supports and respects American law and are prayerfully working to get him home through the legal process.”

This ad is vile. One thing that's so despicable about far-left hatred of Israel is how quickly they just glide past the fact that Israel was subject to horrific terrorist violence. One does not have to agree with all Israeli policies (I certainly don't) to know that this is a grotesque caricature.
New low for normalized Jew-hate in the American Democratic Party. Very sad:
Painting your political opponents as puppets of Jews, as this El-Sayed ad does, and as crazed baby-killers and money-grubbing villains who are the root cause of every bad thing not just in the world, but in your life—from wars to the price of eggs to the reason you can’t have free healthcare—is not just low-grade Jew-hate. It’s pure Third Reich stuff, translated directly from the original German.
Do you remember when Jewish Democrats in Michigan explained that they would vote for El-Sayed despite his open disdain for Jews, since there are many other important issues they need him to fight for? That anything was worth it to “defeat MAGA”?
Well, here’s El-Sayed’s answer to them: Don’t worry, all those issues we agree on, like healthcare, inflation, and climate change, I’m going to make them about Jews too! I will tell the public that the Jews are the reason they can’t have those things.

I have been to lakepointe church with @howertonjosh and found the message from Josh very compelling.
After finding out he hosted @bofrench I will never visit again and tell some of my friends who go there to immediately change churches and never set foot at Lake Pointe again.

New: Sources from three countries confirm that the Trump Administration has advocated Viktor Orbán for UN Secretary-General.
The US has encouraged Orbán to enter the race, even bringing him the initial idea of a joint U.S.-Russia-China candidacy.

WARNING: STRONG LANGUAGE
President Trump escalated his invective against Norway, calling it a ‘shit house country’ and saying Norwegian immigrants are not welcome in the United States because the Nobel committee, based in the capital Oslo, has not awarded him a Peace Prize reut.rs/3U1joSt
This is ridiculous. Christians, what the Trumps are actually saying is that our God is so small, He needs their help to save Him and Christianity. If this isn't blasphemy, it's blasphemy adjacent.
"We're saving Christianity. We've saving God. We've saving the family unit. We're saving this nation. I mean, DEI is out of the window…”
