Finding the @CharityComms #CharityCommsAI seminar brilliant for lifting the lid, info and inspo. Great event.
Two Comms faves just gave a brilliant webinar on what they've learnt in their careers so far - insightful, engaging and perfectly pitched, just like them. Thanks @GemmaPettmanPR @andsoshethinks
This is absolutely spot on. It's been a horrifying few weeks and a stark reminder of the pervasive victim blaming and minimising of #VAWG by the media. Appalling.
Victim blaming and stereotyping in reporting of #DomesticAbuse and #VAWG minimises abuse and supports the dangerous and harmful narratives that legitimise and normalise violence.
I have written to @DCMS, @IpsoNews and @Ofcom calling for swift action.

This is an amazing charity that I have had the pleasure to work with for the last couple of years... Could you be their new CEO?

As 2022 draws to a close, we have seen racism and misogyny across society. From extremely low rape convictions, to shocking reports from the Met Police and fire services and events in royal households⤵️

Today @womensaid releases a chilling video that shows the darker side of football tournaments and what that means for women and children experiencing #DomesticAbuse. #HesComingHome
Football doesn't cause domestic abuse but a game can increase existing abuse, leaving women filled with fear when they hear the dreaded sound of the key in the door. Share this post so survivors know where to turn. #HesComingHome #BeWomensAid #WorldCup

The current #CostOfLivingCrisis crisis has been devastating for survivors of domestic abuse. The soaring energy and food costs, coupled with stagnant wages, is leaving many women more vulnerable to abuse.
