Awww, poor donkey! 🫏
A donkey's mistake left 51 dead According to foreign media, worshippers inside a mosque in #Afghanistan were performing their prayers when a frightened donkey bolted and entered the mosque. Some angry worshippers opened fire on the donkey, killing it. The news reached the donkey's owner, who, enraged, rushed to the mosque, opened fire on the worshippers with a hail of bullets, and fled. Thirteen worshippers were killed inside the mosque. The remaining worshippers, enraged, launched an attack on the donkey owner's village using light and heavy weapons, killing 38 people, including 33 women. Ultimately, a donkey going to a mosque resulted in the deaths of 51 people.

This story of a donkey causing 51 deaths at an Afghan mosque is false and has been repeatedly debunked. The video shows a 2022 shooting in Karachi, Pakistan, over a money dispute with no fatalities; no such incident occurred. factcheck.afp.com/doc.afp.com.32… saptashwatv.com/international/…

Testosterone is made from cholesterol. Oestrogen is made from cholesterol. Progesterone, the hormone that holds a pregnancy, is made from cholesterol. Cortisol, the hormone that gets you through a crisis, is made from cholesterol. Vitamin D is made from cholesterol, by sunlight, in your skin. The bile that digests your fat is made from cholesterol. Every cell in your body is wrapped in a membrane stiffened with cholesterol. Every nerve is insulated with myelin packed with cholesterol. Your brain is 2% of your body weight and holds about a quarter of your cholesterol. Breast milk is loaded with it, because a baby's brain can't be built without it. Most infant formula has almost none. Pregnancy raises it by up to half, because building a human takes a lot of it. Eat less of it and your liver simply makes more, because the body refuses to run without it. Then, in the late 1970s, we declared war on it. Around 8 million people in England now take a pill to lower it. That pill raises the risk of diabetes by about a tenth. Sperm counts have more than halved. Men's testosterone has been sliding about 1% a year, age for age. Antidepressant prescriptions in England have more than doubled since 2008. And in people over 70, the lowest cholesterol tracks with dying soonest. Reports from the front say the war is going well.

Government Poison, everywhere! 🧐
1774: they blew tobacco smoke up drowning victims' backsides to revive them, and the kits hung along the Thames like lifebuoys. 1863: they sold cocaine wine as a daily tonic, and a pope pinned a gold medal on it. 1898: they sold heroin as a cough medicine, and spooned it into coughing children. 1918: they sold radium water as a health drink, and the millionaire who drank 1,400 bottles was buried in a lead-lined coffin with most of his jaw gone. 1921: they put lead in petrol, and Britain kept it in the pumps until 2000. 1930s: they X-rayed children's feet in shoe shops, and kids queued to watch their toes wiggle on the screen. 1940s: they rubbed mercury teething powder into babies' gums, and about 1 in 500 of those babies was poisoned. 1946: they sold cigarettes on the line that more doctors smoked their brand, and put a man in a white coat on the advert. 1949: they gave the lobotomy a Nobel Prize, and doctors went in through the eye socket with an ice pick. 1952: they sold a cigarette filter made of asbestos as the greatest health protection in smoking history, and smokers drew it into their lungs with every puff. 1957: they sold thalidomide to pregnant women for morning sickness, and around 10,000 babies were born with missing or shortened limbs. 1960s: they sold margarine as the heart-healthy fat, and spread trans fat on a generation's toast. 1996: they sold OxyContin as barely addictive, and started an overdose epidemic. 1999: they sold Vioxx for sore joints, and pulled it five years later after tens of thousands of heart attacks. 2026: they're selling seed oil as the heart-healthy fat, and it's in almost every packet in your kitchen. Every one of these came with an expert's blessing and the same total certainty. The people telling you which fat to fear today sit in the same chairs as the ones who put radium in the water and a doctor on the cigarette packet, and they're every bit as sure. "The experts recommend it" has the longest body count in medicine.

In Birmingham 56 out of 151 (37%) murders in the last 2 years have been committed by migrants living in HMOs. Based on the data an HMO dweller is 80% more likely to commit murder. It seems Labour is more interested in votes than the safety of British people. birminghammail.co.uk/news/mi…

Simples.... 🧐
In 2011, Somali pirates attacked 237 ships and were holding hundreds of sailors hostage at a time, waiting for ransoms in the millions. Most Americans knew the problem from one incident — the 2009 hijacking of the Maersk Alabama and its captain, Richard Phillips, which ended with Navy SEAL snipers and became the Tom Hanks movie Captain Phillips. Two years later, warships from the US, EU, NATO, China, India and Japan were patrolling the Gulf of Aden, and none of it had stopped the attacks. Then a sushi restaurant owner from Tokyo went to the coast to talk to the pirates. His name is Kiyoshi Kimura, owner of the Sushi Zanmai chain — the man Japan calls the Tuna King, who paid a record $3.2 million for one bluefin this January. According to his own account, he went around 2012 and concluded the pirates were out-of-work fishermen whose waters had been emptied by foreign trawlers. So he says he gave them four fishing boats, taught them to catch yellowfin tuna, built freezers to hold the catch, and promised to buy every fish. "They didn't even like pirating," he said. "I suggested that they catch tuna instead, and make a proud living for their families." Somali attacks fell from 237 in 2011 to 15 in 2013, and by 2015 the hijackings had stopped. The International Maritime Bureau credits navies, armed guards, hardened ships and Somalia's government. Kimura's name is not on that list, and no one outside his own interviews has measured what four boats on one stretch of coast actually did. Which is how a sushi man from Tokyo came to be credited, online and forever, with "single-handedly ending Somali piracy."

Question: Who did the @SNP and Sinn Fein support during the second world war? Answer: The @SNP and SinnFéin did not officially support Nazi Germany, but both parties contained factions and individual members who pursued alliances with Germany or adopted neutralist/pro-German stances during World War II due to anti-British sentiment. Sinn Féin and the IRA Collaboration and Intelligence: Some IRA members, such as Frank Ryan and Sean Russell, engaged in discussions with Nazi Germany to facilitate infiltration or invasion of Ireland. Belfast Blitz: The IRA provided intelligence on targets in Belfast to the Luftwaffe during the 1941 bombings, hoping for a German victory to advance Irish independence. Motivation: This support was driven by the traditional republican view that "England's difficulty is Ireland's opportunity," rather than ideological agreement with National Socialism. The Scottish National Party (SNP) Pro-German Sentiment: The party was divided, with leaders like Arthur Donaldson and Douglas Young suspected of pro-German views or advocating neutrality. Proposed Alliance: A group called the Scottish Independent Movement intercepted by British intelligence proposed a German-Scottish alliance to establish a republic while England was under attack. Ideological Context: Some members, such as Hugh MacDiarmid (though expelled in the 1930s), expressed Who did the SNP and Sinn Fein support during the second world war?views that a Nazi victory might be preferable to British rule, reflecting a broader trend where hatred of England often overcame hatred of the Nazis.
