Conservatives + Reform = 38% Labour + Lib Dem = 47% Labour + Green = 42% Labour + Lib Dem + Green = 54% (Via @WilliamJBarrett)
Labour won a huge majority on a low share of the vote. Conservatives and Reform together got more votes. One Nation Ministers failed to reassure Conservative voters on migration, tax, U.K. sovereignty and other crucial 2019 promises. In 2019 today’s Reform voters backed the Conservatives to get Brexit done.

Everyone knows Labour are going to win the election, but if you’re feeling like there’s no point in voting as the outcome is a foregone conclusion, I’d like to draw your attention to something really radical that is on offer tomorrow: 1/8

Two futures: Labour in Government. Tories in Opposition. 5 years of endless culture wars & immigrant-bashing. Labour in Government, LibDems in Opposition. Tories powerless & voiceless on back benches. If the Tories come third, it changes everything. Here's why: 1/12

What an extraordinarily disingenuous tweet. Labour had nothing to do with the collapse of Northern Rock. In fact it bailed it out. Meanwhile Rishi Sunak was a hedge fund manager at TCI which caused the collapse of RBS roughly a year later.
Face to face banking last time Labour were in charge.

🏉Just why do volunteers make such a difference to grassroots rugby communities? Moira Bowden is a real insight into the answer. 👏She steered @HPoolRovers back from the brink after the covid pandemic and has relentlessly been driving future success. #VolunteersWeek

Coxy is running the London Winter 10k Run on Sun 25 Feb in aid of @bloodcancer_uk and is hoping to raise awareness of the amazing @AnthonyNolan Trust. Having suffered from Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in 2018, these charities are close to his heart. blackheathrugby.co.uk/coxy-1… @KentRugby

Lost for what to say. In every way somebody ever could be, JPR was one of the greats. I think I speak for everyone when I say we all miss him already.
Bridgend Ravens are devastated to announce the passing of JPR Williams. One of Bridgend's most decorated players and an icon of World rugby, JPR served the club most recently as Club President. Our thoughts are with JPR's family and friends at this sad time 💙 🔵⚪

Here's the thing. There's no magic wand to save hospitality. It needs to be many things. VAT needs to drop. Without service charge, your total bill is roughly: 20% VAT 30% food and drink cost 40% staff costs That leaves 10% for rent, energy, business rates, contracts and

Please RT! We’re really proud to be tackling a new project @GreatWarGroup talking to people about Lions & Donkeys, putting this outdated appreciation into a modern context using studies of Douglas Haig, Britain’s Commander in Chief in #WW1 There will be talks, on & offline, a battlefield command tour at the end of 2025 & a new volume of research on Britain’s chief. We have nine excellent contributors/topics already but there is room for a handful more. Some unfinished areas at the moment are 1916, the opening of the spring offensives, personal aspects, Haig’s experiences of war prior to 1914 and post war/remembrance and legacy. Yesterday marked a beautiful conclusion. 4 yrs ago, during an excavation led by @RaphDeBrant, several soldiers were discovered, incl. 3 British. One was identified as Pte W. J. Meager (16/Middlesex). Now, they rest with their comrades, no longer missing. Photos: @westienatan

Important point. One of the most legally savage games many of us can remember, yet no yellows or reds or head-related incidents. Fantastic.
An unbelievable game of rugby with outstanding skill and incredible defensive tackle tech from both sets of players....not a single head on head review, all tackles ferocious but low. Big respect.
