On a miserable rainy day, it seems quite apt to share this image I took. In the beautiful area of Dentdale, as some huge rain clouds were rolling in.

It's a while since I've posted, so thought that given it's New Years Day, today was a good time to!
Happy New Year to you all, from a very cold Walthamstow Wetlands. I still don't have much of a voice (3 weeks now) but the bracing fresh air was good for the lungs!

After 3 years Uveitis free, it has come back with a vengeance and blimey I'd forgotten how painful it is! ☹️
Thank you to the Ophthalmology Department @RoyalFreeNHS for their care yesterday. I'm now back on eye drops for a few weeks.
A beautiful few days in Rye. Considering how bad the forecast was, we didn't do too badly.
Bodiam Castle is the first photo (looking atmospheric), the second is the beautiful Mermaid Street in Rye, photo number three, Dungeness and last but not least, Smallhythe NT.

It's been on my list of places to go to for so long and we finally got around to it, I absolutely loved it!
All good things have to come to an end and our little break in Yorkshire is one of those things.
We've had a fabulous few days and really didn't want to head back to London so we extended our trip by a few hours and called at Hardwick Hall on our way back.
Back in Yorkshire for a few days. It may have been raining all day but by eck, it's blummin' good to be back! Yorkshire is my happy place ❤️

Photo 1......Last night I discovered I'm allergic to watermelon (completely out of the blue, I've eaten it many times before), it looks like I had Botox that went wrong.
Photo 2......Taken this evening, the swelling is going down but still not completely back to normal.
