I see @AnthropicAI has decided to enter the standard phase of fixing things that aren't broken. Claude's ability to open folders through the finder has been broken since their Oct 6 update. It had worked perfectly. Guess they needed to "improve" it.

Claude is great, but of all the AIs it is the least likely to ever know what time of day it is or even the date because @AnthropicAI somehow never thought to make it look at the local computer's time & zone instead of the server's time & zone (which is UTC).

Claude doesn't write my emails for me. But I do use him to de-asshole them. Since I tend to be annoyed at literally anyone I have to email I often ask Claude to make me less of an asshole and he's been very helpful.

i just found out my bestfriend broke up with her sf boyfriend over the weekend i asked what happened she goes "i found out he had an ai agent managing the relationship" turns out the thoughtful texts, the check-ins, the good morning messages, the conflict resolution, dinner date plans...all automated my friend was emotionally attached to a cron job
