Pregnancy is a time of immense biological change, and approximately 80%+ of women carry to term in their lifetime. Despite this, we know remarkably little about pregnancy-related brain changes. We sought to address some answered questions with this paper: biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

Our new paper, led by @BenNConrad, using structural and functional MRI connectivity, suggests the left ITNA is involved in mapping digits to verbal number representations, while the right ITNA may support mapping of digits to quantity representations. academic.oup.com/cercor/adva…

So it's #October and I needed to test some #MRI sequences for a new study. Use a standard phantom? I think not. I give you #PumpkinMRI!

PreQual, our #diffusion #MRI preprocessing and QA pipeline is out! If you work in this space and get a chance to try it out, let us know what you think! Big thanks to our amazing collaborators, @kurtschilling5, and the entire @MASI_Lab team!
Congrats to #firstauthor @LeonCai (G2) and coauthor Graham Johnson (G2) on their new pub in @mrm_highlights! This work created a single pipeline that joins established #DWI preprocessing tools with quality assurance readout. Get the full picture here: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/…

Update: Leads in PA and GA continue to decrease. The linear trend is consistent with a difference between votes counted last night and the mail-in votes being counted now. Note that the expected total vote is an estimate. If this changes, the entire plot shifts to right or left.

9/9 This work provides new insight into how brain network architectures support symbolic and nonsymbolic number processing, and further demonstrates a methodological approach that is broadly applicable. Please reach out if you’d like to discuss anything. Thank you for reading! 🙂
