Wow, what a day!
I’m overwhelmed and genuinely touched by the support from this community.
This morning, I asked for help reaching 500 followers and you took me beyond it.
Thank you for the follows, shares and conversations. You’ve made this milestone feel special.
I usually follow everyone back, but today I made a point of doing it without delay.
Thanks, gals and guys. You’re incredible. ❤️
Just 3 members away from 500 milestone.
Hopefully with the help of more kind hearts, I’d reach that milestone today.
Options expiry day often looks strange on a chart. Many contracts end that day, so the people who sold them hedge or close out their stock, and that can push the price around for reasons unrelated to the company. Treat odd moves that day with some caution.
A quiet market tests you differently. When nothing moves, it is easy to talk yourself into an idea just because it gives you something to do. I have learnt that the urge to act is not the same as a reason to act.
Support and resistance are just places where lots of people made decisions before. When price comes back, some of them want out, some want in. That crowd memory is why a level can matter, and why it fails when nobody cares.
Own a stock for long enough and you start to love it. Then bad news feels personal. The stock does not know you own it, so try to read the news as a stranger would.
$ABNB reported and the reports were positive.
BUT
Were chart was showing the next move or we were in the dark hoping.
I have prepared a video analysing the chart from TA and Smart money perspective. Hope you like it.
Missing a big move stings more than a small loss ever does, even though the loss is the one that actually costs money. Regret about what never happened is a bad guide. Nothing was lost, so there is nothing to win back.
Selling a winner feels smart. Holding a loser feels like patience. Most of the time the feelings are backwards. I try to notice which story I am telling myself before I touch the button.
Today my timeline is full of changing target price for $IREN by different analysts.
For months, you have been told, this stock is cheap and all of the sudden the narrative changed.
As I keep saying, do yourself a favour, learn a proper strategy and don’t let to be a milking cow for the market.
Fundamentals are great stories that we are being told.
I get it, it seems so logical, it looks so smart and obvious. Be skeptical if it seems so obvious.
Dip buying feels brave when the first red day arrives. It feels very different on the fifth. I try to decide in advance how much pain I can sit through, because my opinion in the middle of the drop is never a calm one.
Does a stock you have never owned look clearer than one you hold? I find the ones in my watchlist feel simple, and the ones in my account feel complicated. Is it just emotion, or are we missing something when we are invested?
An AI engineer talking to you.
If you think AI is the future, which it is, you need to bullish on picks and shovels.
For applied AI, here are the companies that are getting benefit of increasing number of AI startups:
1) $NET Cloudflare hosts a lot of newly developed websites and handles so many operations. Cloudflare used to provide CDN solutions but developed tons of free tier solutions for startups that will turn into paid subscriptions after they take off.
3) $DDOG
Production agents create traces, model calls, tool calls and failures that teams need to monitor. Datadog can earn from both agent observability and the infrastructure underneath.
4) $AMZN
AWS can capture model inference spend through Bedrock, alongside the cloud services that run the app. Bedrock offers token-based pricing.
