I read this proclamation in honor of my grandmother Marie DeJardin who passed away from this tragic disease in Woodburn years ago.
Council proclaimed "Walk to End Alzheimer's Day" to increase awareness of Alzheimer’s, a progressive neurodegenerative brain disorder which robs people of memories, leads to progressive mental and physical impairments and to which there is no cure. More:

Designing and building safer transportation infrastructure is key. I think a discussion of e-bike regulation and education (for young people especially) is also warranted. Looking forward to discussing.
