Heartbreaking.
The men and women of IMPD are holding the Beech Grove Police Department and the family of Officer Brian Elliott close in our thoughts after this heartbreaking line of duty loss.
We are also keeping the injured officer in our prayers as they recover in the hospital.
We stand together with you, today and in the difficult days ahead.
Continued prayers for these officers, their families and colleagues.
UPDATE: State police confirm the two officers who were wounded in a shooting Monday afternoon are with the Beech Grove Police Department.
No updates on their condition have been provided at this time.

I'm not a big sports conspiracy theory guy, but when obvious pass interference and obvious holds get ignored ... you understand why fans get suspicious ... #iufb
Ok, starting to see a trend here with the officials. Never forget that these people have been putting their thumbs on games for years. #iufb

Indiana did not deserve the vitriol it received during and after its first-round CFP loss to Notre Dame.
It’s quite possible that the Hoosiers’ only losses this season came to the two best teams in college football.
