It is poorly defined, full of UB, and everyone writes their own interpreter for it.

It is very unfortunate that compilers have become involved in this "outputting a program" business.

Imagine having companies that robs people of their agency, of the infos necessary to understand their context, puts them in a dependent situation, and then complain that they behave as teenagers.
Replying to @andybudd
These sort of teams remind me of surly teenagers who want to be "treated like adults" while completely dismissing all the work their parents do looking after them (cooking, cleaning, driving them places, giving them money).

The main issue with event sourcing is that no matter what line of business you're modeling, there's always someone business-side for which "event" means something. And so you spend endless time clarifying words in team discussions.

I still don't get why people like chatbots. They're like CLIs, but with no man, no --help and randomly kicking you out of your session. I would prefer a customer support to record a message telling me they don't care, at least I wouldn't be wasting my time.

I used to start wordle with "short" and "adieu", but I will probably try out "nadir" and "ethos" next time. commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/F…
Turns out, it's not trivial to determine where/how exactly incremental compilation checks should happen 😟
Yesterday: "my internet friend has become a servant of Evil Lord" Today: "Those tech workers could starve if they don't pick that unethical job" I don't even know who it's about. I'm now picturing a SV billionnaire living paycheck-to-payckeck by seasoning babies in a fast-food.

We now have a weekly session of group documentation for our infrastructure team. The goal is to re-discover the platform, and write down what we used/saw.

Today's session was on our Rundeck instance. Things written down include: * how to find the passwords * where the instances are * what manual tasks can be necessary and how to do it * who uses it and how
