Moment Chris Brown batters producer with tequila bottle on packed dancefloor In America, this would have resulted in prison time regardless of the person's status, and for a number of years. The UK a different story @andyburnham @UKLabour.. Voted Labour, you're an idiot!! thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/40…

A pre-Budget reminder that the economic burden of corporate taxes is always borne by real people, not by businesses, 'Big Oil', or banks... 👇
Ahead of John Healey's first Budget, a reminder that companies don’t pay tax - people do. And that also applies to energy suppliers and to banks. In more technical terms, companies are only legal entities and cannot bear the economic burden of tax themselves. Tax increases are therefore always passed on to real people. Shareholders will bear some of the cost through lower profits and dividends, although many 'ordinary' people own shares through their pension funds. But customers will also pay through higher prices, while employees will face lower wages. Everyone may lose if companies cut jobs and investment or move activity overseas. So, whenever someone says, “companies should pay their fair share” or “tax banks, not workers”, ask them where the money will really come from… 🤔

BREAKING: Chris Brown has been sentenced to eight months in prison, suspended for 12 months, therefore avoiding jail time. Brown pleaded guilty to affray over a confrontation at a London nightclub in 2023. trib.al/FfaizNt 📺 Sky 501

You are of pensionable age, so maybe move to Ireland for three years & then seek Irish citizenship..
My wife has an Irish passport and could work anywhere is Europe with ease. I cannot. Are we winning yet?

I'm surprised that people haven't been sworn at by the cyclists. The @MayorofLondon should have had some @metpoliceuk officers stationed there, as these cyclists don't tend to swear at them..
Cyclists are continuing to ride along the newly pedestrianised section of Oxford Street, despite being asked to dismount. Around seven security staff have been stationed near Oxford Circus, calling out to cyclists to get off their bikes, with mixed success. France: The sickest man of Europe This is what @andyburnham & his europhile rabble of @uklabour MPs and voters want to return to. AndreJ Babas the Czechian PM was at least honest; they need the UKs money.. politico.eu/article/france-t…

Sangria Sue, you don't half-post bollocks: * EZ3 economies are not doing great, and they're members of your beloved eu. * Migration, mass illegal uncontrolled migration, was caused by Germany, France & eu. Between 2020 - 2024 @uklabour demanded unfettered access to people from Hong Kong, Ukraine & Afghanistan. * Labour refuses to the ECHR, so lefty-lawyers use Art8 to block the removal of illegals & foreign criminals.

In summary, it would be great if journalists started to challenge Rejoiners whenever they parrot these dodgy numbers or make wild claims about the impact of Brexit. But in the meantime, I will continue to call out these 'zombie statistics' whenever I can... 🤓

FYI, talking about Brexit yesterday, Angela Rayner claimed that... “The evidence is really clear in terms of 20% down in exports to the EU, 16,000 businesses no longer exporting to the EU, it has been the red tape on the EU deal we got, has been damaging to the economy”. But if this is indeed the evidence, it really is not clear! Let's unpick it... 🧵

Amazing how NI exports are mainly to Ireland, the rest of the eu are smaller.. But that pattern has always been the same.
🚨 EXPLAIN THIS! Northern Ireland kept access to the EU goods market. Since 2019: 🇪🇺 Northern Ireland: +12.7% 🇬🇧 UK: +6.3% Almost DOUBLE the economic growth. If leaving the EU was supposed to make us richer, why is Northern Ireland showing the Sunlit uplands are in the EU? 🇪🇺

The UK doesn't belong to the eu, nor anyone else. It is a sovereign nation (unless europhile & Makerfield liar @andyburnham gets his way). The UK doesn't need a third-rate, autocratic organisation to instruct it on what laws and regulations to implement, or to pay £bn's into a failing bloc.. 👇👇
UK 🇬🇧 belongs to the EU 🇪🇺! It should rejoin as soon as possible. A 🥇 win-win for Europe and British citizens and businesses!

But not the government-owned @FRANCE24 which ran reports about Africa rather than carry Le Pen’s speech.
How France has changed in the past forty years. Can remember when inviting Jean-Marie Le Pen to be interviewed on television provoked outrage. Today, the French media are according wall-to-wall coverage to Marine Le Pen's political convention.

You would also notice in that period, that the left demanded unfettered access to the UK from those of Hong Kong, Ukraine & Afghanistan, which they seem to forget. Between 1997 - 2010, @UKLabour MPs apologised for the migration numbers stating "we didn't know how many would come". You europhiles are fecking deranged!!
Brexiteers claim that rejoining the EU would mean losing control of immigration Reality check: after Brexit, the UK saw record levels of non-EU immigration under the immigration system Brexiteers created Non-EU net migration exceeded 1 million in the year ending March 2023 🇬🇧🇪🇺

Please provide your evidence to this. Otherwise some may consider you have been on crack..
The EU fee was about £12.6bn a year, whereas the estimated Brexit loss of output is now roughly £170bn–£230bn a year, with an associated loss of tax revenue of roughly £65bn–£85bn a year. That makes the fee equivalent to only about 5–7% of the estimated annual GDP loss. #BrexSHIT

Again Richard is lying. The EU treaties are very clear. Accession requires an obligation to adopt the Euro and to join Schengen. The EU themselves happily tell you this. Their websites confirm it. Their treaties confirm it. So why is @RichardGCorbett such a brazen liar.

If you think EU Freedom of Movement is a good idea. We couldn't even deport homeless EU citizens when we were members previously. The homeless. Sleeping rough on the streets of London, but we can't deport them. theguardian.com/uk-news/2017…
