On the mound First Pitch from last night.
The @Cardinals went on to beat the Cubs.

"marte is acting like a cuban" I may have found the holy grail of cardinals fan racism they're ranking them now

My general rule, I don’t do day games in July and August. The heat is real.

I’ll tell you one yes it should be more full. But it was definitely not a beautiful Sunday. (Also everyone in the stadium was under him because that’s where the shade was)

It's hot and tbh, this young team is cooked. We are very excited for the future hear in St. Louis tho! More excitement there this season than any since Yadi/Waino left (Pujols was the year before).

Empty Busch Stadium is back. I get a dip in attendance after the last five games, but I’m baffled to see the place almost entirely empty. Someone enlighten me.

Drill him in the fucking head. If he played in the same stadium as JJ they would have the same amount of HRs. And we know who is better on defense. I guess RBIs matter a ton though.

It's so odd that the Cubs have PCA as their leadoff guy, considering he doesnt get many hits, doesnt get on base very often, and is statistically one of the worst hitters in their lineup.
But hey, i'll take it 😂
Here's something else you'll never see again!
If you don’t mind a touch of historical perspective from the old dude here.
In terms of a regular-season game, and seeing something that’s never happened before — and may never happen again — there are two top of the list events in #STLCards history.
1) Two grand slams in the same inning by Fernando Tatis Sr. April 23, 1999.
2) Josh Baez hitting 3 homers in his first big-league game.
I was at Dodger Stadium for the Tatis shocker, covering with Rick Hummel for the Post-Dispatch. I’ll never forget it.
I’m watching Baez from my easy chair at home but the feeling that comes when witnessing something like this is just as extraordinary. I’ll never forget it.
(Chan Ho Park, say hello to Matthew Boyd. )
I’m not making this about me. But what I am doing is reminding myself and others that the Cardinals continue to deliver incredible moments as a franchise, even in a rebuild, and I’ve been blessed - we’ve all been blessed - to see so much of it.
There’s a time and place for skepticism, cynicism and criticism … but today is not one of those days.
