Best Promos is the best dance music blog this side of Timbuktu.
There is probably an even better dance music blog on the other side of Timbuktu.

Sad news indeed about the passing of Stuart Baggs
A memorable interviewee on 'The Apprentice'. He stunned me with his unforgettable response, claiming he was 'a brand'.... brilliant👏. RIP🙏 .

Time for 90 minutes from this icon, at a legendary venue 31 years ago:
This is the phenomenal Andrew Weatherall (RIP) @ Cream, Nation, Liverpool 29.10.94
Thumping, flowing mix across several genres, as is always the way with his mixes. Just on a different level to many at times. Fantastic thing.

FULL TONY DE VIT 1995 MIX (DOWNLOAD/STREAM):
Go on, one more. Remember I mentioned that Tony De Vit 11 hour mix the other day? Fancy the mp3? Download/stream below.
This is the seminal Tony De Vit @ Trade, Turnmills, London - Saturday, 06.05.95. 681 minutes of skill, history, knowledge all in one.
I swear I used to have a higher quality encode of this but for the life of me I can't find it, so its 128kbps I'm afraid.
Kofi in bio - last time I shout this if you wanna support uploads/storage etc haha. Much love to y'all.

Final mix of the day and one of my favorite DJs, something a little different, a radio mix 27 years ago:
This is the sensational Tony De Vit on Kiss100 21.05.98
As always, playing it a little faster than harder than many, this is an absolute stomper from a DJ sorely missed by all.
Mixes on Kofi soon, more tomorrow, bless up!

One of my favourite DJs now, and sorely missed by all, 30 years ago:
This is Tony De Vit (RIP) @ Cream, Liverpool 1995
Year on this varies between 95 and 97. I received it as 95 so stuck with that. Phenomenal DJ, phenomenal event. Man played some absolute belters.

Read the @midlandsound interview with @notagspodcast - especially if you’re a DJ and feel you’re in the rat race with it all. Great interview, and great insights from an excellent artist.
