The moment Phon sucked on his cut finger while keeping his eyes fixed on Piya… OMG!!! That boy is gay through and through. Who stares at another man like that while sucking on his own finger?! The symbolism in this scene is pretty obvious. There’s something subtly seductive about the way Phon looks at Piya and the way he moves. And Phon is actually the one who makes the first move. Forget all that talk about slowly falling in love out of loneliness. That boy had his eyes on Piya from the very beginning. 😏 P.S. Phon comes from an educated, middle-class family, but he planned to overstay his visa and work illegally abroad. Instead, he ended up getting tricked into working on a pineapple plantation. So it makes sense that he looks fair-skinned, clean, and well-groomed in the opening scene. Just wait until he’s spent some time working in the fields. He’ll be all dirty and scruffy soon. #PineappleLeafBlade #TayNew
