Loved Japan. I’m Eritrean and no other country has given me more joy and even bought a holiday home there. Don’t speak for others #japan

Sabean fallacy in the horn is linked to Eurasian theory
Yes, the strong Sabaean colonization theory was largely a fallacy. Colonial-era scholars claimed South Arabians migrated en masse around 1000–800 BCE and brought civilization, writing, and statehood to the Horn. Archaeology and linguistics since the 1970s show mostly indigenous developments with limited Sabaean influence via trade and small groups, not a civilizing invasion. Linked to the same Hamitic racial ideas and rejected as such.

Westerners have a history of lying and using racial pseudoscience to claim histories in the horn. It is now repackaged as “Eurasian”
Yes, theories like the Hamitic hypothesis did. Some Western scholars classified Horn peoples as superior "Caucasoid" invaders who brought civilization, distorting history to fit racial hierarchies and justify colonialism. Rejected since the 1960s as pseudoscience. Afroasiatic languages have African roots; genetics show ancient local ancestry plus admixture, not a civilizing-invader story.

The way the Africans specifically the Nigerians are taking out the racists is epic with knowledge and word flair.

“The Sabaeans of ancient South Arabia were an ancient Semitic people who spoke a distinct Old South Arabian language (Sabaic) rather than ancient Arabic, meaning they were not ethnically or linguistically classified as Arabs in ancient times” Let’s do our research next time.
This woman is Ethiopian or Eritrean. I find the intense anti-Arab animosity among people in the Horn of Africa rather amusing, given that the Ge’ez script itself evolved from the South Arabian Musnad script.

The habesha community are extremely naive with this narrative
The ancient Ge’ez script was developed by the Axumites based on Sabean script, not on Armenian alphabet. The Sabean script itself evolved during the Da’amat (D’mt) Kingdom, a powerful pre-Axumite civilization centred in Tigray & Eritrea, with its capital at Yeha, Tigray

The Ge’ez script is not south Arabian, clearly a Eurocentric invention that makes no sense with the evidence

Ge’ez is an indigenous script that makes people feel uncomfortable, it questions african agency and accomplishments
12
They use the racist south Arabian fabrication to explain Ge’ez because it was racially satisfying. No evidence of it being south Arabian in nature #Ge’ez

The fact that Habesha people are more concerned with Afrocentrism and not the Eurocentric Garbage that disclocatee their history from their hands and called them “negro savages” is laughable and disturbing. #habesha

Black scholars are expected to work harder, cite more, and prove more—not because their work is weaker, but because the standards of legitimacy are unevenly applied.

Isaias is paving the way for his exit and then the period of enlightenment comes, we realise all along the despot was being propped up by western powers. Leaving a vacuum for a capture with a deserted Eritrea and no one to fight for it. #eritrea

Instead of Eritreans worrying about Ethiopians and what they’re doing or not doing. We need to wonder where all the tax money from the diaspora is going. Asmara is an old colonial relic and the people are suffering. Whilst Eri-tv fills your head with useless propaganda. #eritrea

Yes, the South Arabian origins of Ge'ez are indeed debated. Scholars like Jacqueline Pirenne and Grover Hudson argue against it, citing earlier inscriptions in Eritrea/Ethiopia (e.g., 9th century BCE) and no clear evolutionary link in South Arabia. Pirenne proposed local development in the Horn of Africa. Mainstream views still trace it to Ancient South Arabian roots with regional adaptations. Sources: Wikipedia, historical linguistics studies.

Both Eritreans and Ethiopians are products of the Eurocentric manipulation of their history and believed a very botched version of their own history by westerners with no evidence. They are still to this day repeating fabrications on their history.

The bold acts of Haitians to overthrow slavery and colonialism reverberated around the world, forcing slaveholding nations like Britain and France to come face to face with the contradictions of their own “enlightenment.” Many would now like to forget this reckoning.

Flimsy and speculative. The truth is the same point you made about Haiti was the same one for western nations. They went back to doing the same thing inspite of their claims

Europeans taking credit for ending slavery is like drug cartels taking credit for ending the drug trade after quitting drug trafficking & investing drug money in the stock market. Slavery ended because Whites stopped enslaving non Whites. They were the ones keeping slavery alive
