It’s not just ministers or MP’s who swerve it, it happens across local government too. Its absolutely incredible as its the BIGGEST single source of misery&anxiety for citizens which social workers like me absorb every single day because we actually still connect & hear people!
MPs have been criticised for failing to question the social care minister about the “national scandal” of tens of thousands of disabled people across England who have been left in debt because they cannot pay their care charges.

I urge @AdultPSWNetwork to weigh in on this & consider a response to @DWPgovuk given the enormous anxiety & worry this very public strategy will cause citizens (many with eligible Care Act support needs) who may be to freighted to apply for or keep benefits they are entitled to.
How long till we can vote these a***es out? They're going down this route coz they KNOW it's not illegal. More likely they will be found acting illegally, but it's about currying public favour. Well, the public have had enough, it's what happens when you shaft too many people.
What Chantal has been through is immeasurable, and what she has become is incredible. She is one of the strongest, most impressive women I know. Her kindness, compassion and strength shine through.
