If you told me when I was leaving school that I would end up running a EV betting service, I would have never believed you. But I have found myself in this world. And it is a very strange one. As my my feed is overrun with gambling or gambling-adjacent content, you see a lot of questionable stuff. Don't get me wrong, there are a ton of helpful and genuine creators out there. I've learnt a lot from them myself. But, my god, there is so much slop and it kills (with views). The reality is, most people should not bet on sports. If you are doing it for fun AND understand the odds you are playing, that's fine. But the delusional people who flaunt huge tickets or think they can make money off their intuition is just damaging. Betting = maths. Yes it's important to understand sports. But you are not going to beat the books because you watch a lot of sports. I often find myself explaining what I do with relatively well-educated people. And when I try and explain the concept of EV betting, they find it hard to grok. Everyone wants to make money quickly. They want to hit that one monster multi. Or my absolute favourite term that goes around, get a bet on the "absolute lock of the century". We try our best to share advice and strategies that are rooted in mathematical principles to help you make smarter betting decisions. And I hope we are doing that. If you want to make money sports betting, I am here to tell you that is very much possible. But you need to take some time and learn. It is definitely not "easy" and it will not happen overnight. You need to understand the risks and choose the strategies that work for your unique life situation. Thank you for coming to my TED talk 🎤

I hate the comments when people lost complaining about sports being rigged. It goes both ways. And if you are not in on the rigging then literally doesn't matter
Deadass, if sports are so "rigged" and the books are "telling players to lose this prop on purpose"... Why are you betting? If you think the whole game's rigged against you, why do you play?

@BetsniperAUS they're just salty Australians made a better product. Keep up the great work from a member who hasn't even had his strategy call but is loving the props data!

Concerning when the people trying to promote a software don't know how to read Nice of you to quote our tweet without looking at what we actually offer :) Will take the free engagement though!
This is a dumb take, books misprice all the time. See for yourself: bestbook.app/outliers

This is a breakdown of the line out EV strategy where EV > 5%. For some of the markets, the volume is pretty low, but the results are all trending in the right direction. The edge is real strong and a great way to get some additional bets that don't appear on the other EV screens,
One of our new additions to top down EV betting this year for NBA is line out. Two weeks into the year and the results are looking very strong. The clear pattern of more EV and more books improving results is exactly what we want to see.

I think a lot of tipsters mistake an edge for just attacking mispricings I can’t tell you the amount of tipsters I’ve seen with a record showing 1000s of units profit when in reality they’re just targeting a mispricing or betting props 18 hours out These edges aren’t sustainable, they rely on illiquid markets that they can barely bet themselves so they just sell the tips instead If a tipster has such a big edge why not just bet it themselves, with the rise of PMs there should be no excuses anymore
Replying to @BetsniperAUS
at one point I definitely agreed, but after 5 years of demolishing NBA props i strongly disagree - NBA play-by-play data is free and publicly available, and the books have shown some pretty absurd approaches to pricing in a lot of markets

The harsh reality is free data won’t build you a model that beats the books If bookies have access to the same data you have they’ve already priced it all into their odds
What's the most useful free data source you've found for an NFL model? Curious what everyone's pulling from these days. My assumption is that nflverse.py is going to be the most common answer here. I started modeling with scraping nfl-reference years back 😅

Another play I love with Jalen Johnson out. The sharps are all over it as well.
Jalen Johnson (ankle) ruled out Monday.

Sharps are great at spotting value at big odds. Great match-up for Wemby if the game can stay close.
