These say "be mine" and "hug me." When you are homeless, though, kindness is hard to come by when you are invisible. #endhomelessness
Sometimes the ingenuity of people living in encampments is astounding. Still, this is no place to live. #endhomelessness
Just gave Clarence cold bottle of water and granola bar. He smiled and went back to his home under a bridge. #endhomelessness
Just outreached Clarence, the most well known Tulsan experiencing #homelessness. So frustrating he isn't ready to move off the streets.
This is Sam's house. He's in his late 50s and got in two fights yesterday. He wants a real home and real second chance. #endhomelessness
We are out with Noe Rodriguez for street #outreachtulsa. Heading to meet Sally now. Stay tuned!
Gene is funny, kind and loves talking with visitors. We hope he'll be ready for housing soon. We won't give up on him. #outreachtulsa
Gene, 55, is a vet using his survival skills to go off the grid. We have an apartment ready for him, but he's not ready. #outreachtulsa
We couldn't take pictures of Gene's encampment, but for 7 years he's built a makeshift cabin out of scavenged items. #outreachtulsa
Can you imagine calling this home? So sad but it's a reality for many people living in hidden encampments. #Endhomelessness #OutreachTulsa
No matter the weather outside, this is Jake's only transportation. #HousingFirst #outreachtulsa
