As I listened to @eric_gugua on Saturday, I began to evaluate my own journey as a founder, builder, and thought leader. And one of the highlights of my learning today is that first quote I captured with our @VerseTap AI-powered note-taker. It helped me to instantly locate the associated verse of the Bible and attach it. . . His words helped me understand why we often underestimate what can be achieved in a day, but overestimate what we can achieve in a year. A day looks small, and we often assume we can always make up for anyone we lose to frivolities, and there will be no repercussions. But that is exactly how we miss out on kairos moments. . . I remember the story of how @VerseTap came as a simple negligible idea last year September, and by December it was built. No noise. No ovations. No headlines. But right now, it's serving believers across 50+ countries, with close to 2000 downloads across Play Store and App Store. Without any singular paid promotion. . . Has it cost me a lot? More than I ever anticipated. But has it also pushed me and stretched my old limits beyond measure? Absolutely yes! Did I ever anticipate it was going to get this far in a short time? Not at all! I just moved with a simple idea of a problem worth solving. . . And like @eric_gugua said, "Make your plans. Do your due diligence. But never forget that until the market begins to test your idea, nothing is concrete," it was Mike Tyson who also said, "Everyone has a plan until they're punched in the face." . . Being a builder and a founder for more than 8 years, I can attest to everything Eric shared on Saturday. It was such a great pleasure listening to him, and even drawing inferences from the things he wasn't even saying, which I was catching. . . I celebrate the greatness in you, Mr. Eric Gugua. #beyondconvensionph #ericgugua #beyondconversationportharcourt #beyondconversationph #beyondconversation
