There were MANY ideas in place when Kevin Williamson first created his vision for SCREAM. But what exactly WAS cut, changed & removed from the final film we got? Join me for almost an hour ๐คฃ for EVERY change, every removed scene & MORE from Scream (1996).

i will always disagree with the sentiment that laurie needed more reason to be as traumatized & guarded as she was in the david gordon green trilogy cause this alone wouldโve made me never trust anyone again

The Soska Sisters (Jen & Sylvia) have been VERY vocal about SCREAM 8 and the franchise on their social media @twisted_twins.
They have talked & teased about directing the film, along with asking for ideas & including Dewey!

When creating the Halloween (2018) mask in Halloween: The Game, our team partnered with Academy Award winner Christopher Nelson and used meticulous 3D mask film scans to ensure every last terrifying detail was captured with precision.

In SCREAM 7 (2026), Sidney is stalked by an escaped mental patient in Karl, just like Laurie was by Michael Myers in the original HALLOWEEN (1978).
Given that HALLOWEEN is Kevin Williamsonโs favorite movie, itโs so fitting that his directorial debut of the franchise features a deep, intellectual homage to the original Laurie/Michael dynamic for the heroine he originated in Sidney Prescott.
Itโs inspired and brilliant to deploy this classy tribute to HALLOWEEN in SCREAM 7โs theme of parasocial relationships.

In my opinion, these are the darkest and scariest Ghostface killers! ๐ช๐ฉธ

People canโt handle this movie. I really enjoyed it. And her as ghostfaceโฆ absolutely iconic!!! ๐ฅ

Jessica was a great Ghostface. She was a formidable fighter and her reasoning was spot on by mirroring the very real epidemic of parasocial relationships. She was fierce. I do wish we had more time with her, though.
Jessica followed & stalked Sidney since 2011 to 2026. She murdered her own husband and even killed her own son with little remorse. In a franchise full of people who are avenging their kids deaths, Jessica killing hers in cold blood is far darker imo.
You have to be joking. Roman? Jill? Hell, Richie was more dark than Jessica. Jill killed her own mother, Roman got his mother killed, stalked said mother and affair. Told the son and basically taught him how to kill which started the entire nightmare. Richie wanted to remake an entire franchise because of one bad movie. Jessica killing her so โฆ is probably the tamest out of all of these
She has also stalked Sidney since 2011. Constantly watching and observing her from afar wherever she went. She murdered her own husband. Killed her own son. The list is endless.

And just the fact that she killed her son, for me, she's definitely the most deadly female ghostface
A reminder that nothing from Friday the 13th has reviewed well!! Judge for yourselves.
Crystal Lake may be divisive among some fans for how it ties together various elements of Friday the 13th canon, but it all comes together well in the end.
Our review: bit.ly/4yiltY8
ALT Crystal Lake review: Showrunner Brad Caleb Kane imparts a thorough knowledge of the original source material to the eight-part series, while also having an eye to what a show like this needs to do beyond just giving us compelling characters; namely, he knows we need to see some really fun and gory kills. Score: 8
Told you guys around a month ago that October was the date to watch for!! ๐คฃ
If what Iโm hearing is true, SCREAM fans might want to keep their notifications on. Something #Scream8 could be coming VERY soon. As in, this month. Emphasis on IF. ๐ช๐

I feel like people talk about 4 this way because it had the weakest box office. Courteney Cox also bashed 4 a few years back, but with no real reason. Arguably, Scream 4โs social commentary has probably aged the best out of the whole franchise imo.
