The Lord bless you
and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.
—Numbers 6:24-26
So, so weary of blatant corruption in our politicians.
And so very weary of them enriching themselves while exploding the national debt and simultaneously ignoring inflation/costs of groceries and gas.
My kingdom for some competence and character in office.
Happy Sunday. Let’s gather and worship the LORD.
I will place my residence among you, and I will not reject you. I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people.—Leviticus 26:11-12

Heartbroken over today’s horrific attack on a church in Jordan.
Extremists opened fire during a funeral, killing 7 and injuring 34. The victims were extended family members of a dear friend of mine.
Jordan is often considered one of the safest countries for Christians in the Middle East. Praying for the grieving families, the injured, and the Christian community shaken by this senseless violence.
The way I organize my laptop is that I save every single thing on the desktop until I there is no more room and can find nothing and am finally forced to actually organize it.
If any of your fellow Israelites become poor and are unable to support themselves among you, help them as you would a foreigner and stranger, so they can continue to live among you.—Leviticus 25:35
The people of God generously share what they have with those who are without.
The people of God are marked by caring for people that others often despise.
“Stand up in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the Lord.
When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them.”—Leviticus 19:32-33
Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.—Leviticus 19:18
So many people voted today that they ran out of stickers at our polling location. Please count this red, white, and blue item as proof of completing our civic duty.
Do not strip your vineyard bare or gather its fallen grapes. Leave them for the poor and the resident alien. I am the Lord your God.—Leviticus 19:9-10
Remember the poor and the stranger. In doing so, you testify to the love of God.
Happy Lord’s Day.
“So also consider yourselves dead to sin, and alive to God in our Lord Jesus Christ. Alleluia.
Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.”

If true, this is despicable. Russia is the enemy.

Leviticus.
Aaron raises hands bloodied from sacrifice to bless the people.
The crucifixion.
Bloodied, with outstretched arms Jesus prays forgiveness.
In both Old Testament and New, the aim of the LORD is the overcoming of and deliverance from sin and death.
Glad to see the President canceled the livestream of the scheduled execution. I believe he made the correct decision.
“But if he cannot afford an animal from the flock, then he may bring to the LORD two turtle doves or two young pigeons.”—Leviticus 5:7
When they present Jesus in the temple, Joseph and Mary “offer a sacrifice…..a pair of turtle doves or two young pigeons.”—Luke 2:24
