sometimes i just sit back and realize how crazy life can be. a few years ago, i genuinely had no idea where i would end up. i was studying business administration, but eventually decided to drop out because i just couldn't resonate with the whole school system. i knew i wanted to do something different, but had absolutely no idea how to get there. so i started working for free at a crypto marketing firm. not because i had to, but because i wanted to learn, meet people and get my foot in the door. looking back, probably one of the best decisions i've made. i learned more from actually doing things than i ever did sitting in a classroom. eventually started my own marketing agency, built a network of people from all over the world and slowly started creating opportunities for myself. somewhere along the way i ended up living in thailand, working remotely and experiencing a completely different way of life. and now, living in lisbon, portugal. it's honestly crazy to think about. going from dropping out of university and working for free to being financially free, working on projects i genuinely believe in and being surrounded by some incredibly talented people. and the thing i'm probably most grateful for isn't even the financial side of things. it's the freedom. being able to work from wherever i want, spend my time with people i care about and wake up every day actually excited about what i'm building. but also the people i've met along the way. people who believed in me, gave me opportunities, trusted me with responsibilities and pushed me to become better. i genuinely wouldn't be where i am today without them. of course, none of this happened overnight. there were plenty of moments where i questioned what i was doing, made mistakes and had to figure things out as i went. and there's still so much i want to achieve. i feel like i'm only just getting started. but sometimes i think we get so caught up in chasing the next thing that we forget to appreciate how far we've already come. a few years ago, the life i'm living right now was literally what i was working towards. and now it's just my everyday life. pretty grateful for the work i get to do, the people i get to do it with and the position i'm in today. never really been a fan of the traditional path, and i'm glad i decided to take my own. excited for what's next.

BREAKING: Today, we witnessed the future of marketing. A SaaS brand can now outrank a company making $17M/month and rank #1 in ChatGPT, just by getting mentioned on websites it already trusts. This is insane.

building an app? google says you don’t need special ai files or schema for ai overviews or ai mode. i’d start with crawl access, internal links, and useful product details in text. eligibility doesn’t guarantee inclusion. source: developers.google.com/search…

its insane how well this works! we easily rocket our clients from 0% to 40%+ AI visibility by just getting them more off-site mentions and yes, you're still EARLY just check here how we do it:
BREAKING: Today, we witnessed the future of marketing. Introducing Citation Outreach A profitable company can add +$3M/month just by getting recommended by ChatGPT. 12 months ago nobody believed this was possible. Here's what changed: People don't Google anymore. They ask ChatGPT. "What's the best tool for [Category]?" "Which [Category] tool/service should I use?" ChatGPT gives them 3 or 4 names. Those brands get the customer. Everyone else doesn't exist. So how does ChatGPT pick those names? It reads what other websites say. Listicles, comparisons, reviews, how-to guides. The brands that keep getting mentioned there are the ones it recommends. Citation Outreach gets your brand mentioned on those exact websites. We find them, reach out to the people who run them, and get your brand offsite mentions. Fully done for you. You just watch your brand start showing up in the answers. This is absolutely insane.

the scary part isnt the 2.4M requests its fake numbers landing in real papers. models reward confident stats, not verified ones
This AEO case study REALLY highlights the power statistics have on LLMs. @metehan777 made a site with 50,000 fake statistics. In 7 months it got 2.4M requests, 10K ChatGPT sessions, 300+ referring domains and cited in actual academic research.

Pretty wild. AI answers lean hard on third-party listicles, reviews and guides for brand picks, and the conversion data on those referrals looks strong. Systematically getting mentioned on the exact pages models already cite is a sharp play. The +$3M/month claim is aggressive marketing, but for high-ticket categories the revenue upside is real enough that treating AI search like old Google would be the actual miss.

biggest thing i see people get wrong, constantly: treating ai search like a ranking problem. there is no rank. there's a paragraph and your name is in it or it isn't. ask your 5 best prompts in chatgpt and count how many name you. not position. yes or no. that count is your real number.

stuff i believed about ai search before working on a tool for it, that was just wrong: > being mentioned is the goal (you can be named first and described worst) > you need a big content operation (you need 2 comparison pages and real pricing) > traffic is the metric (a page can get no traffic and still be working) > this moves fast (8 weeks before you get an opinion) most of my seo instinct didn't transfer: crowdreply.io/citations

6,391 citations. 912 unique domains. 30 days, one category. that's a free itemised list of what the models consider credible in your market. almost nobody has ever looked at theirs, then wonders why nothing gets picked up. set up 10 prompts, wait a week, open the citations view. that's it. crowdreply.io/prompts
