🟨 Something interesting is happening with @FungoLabs, and I think the technology behind this launch deserves more attention.
Today, November 5, Fungo Genesis is introducing 2,500 NFTs through a sealed-bid auction powered by @zama's Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) technology. Another 500 NFTs are reserved for free minting by whitelist holders and nominees, bringing the Genesis collection to 3,232 NFTs, including 232 allocated to the team.
Here's what makes the auction interesting.
Participants submit their bids in cZAMA, choosing how much they're willing to pay per NFT and the quantity they want. Those details remain encrypted throughout the auction, meaning other participants cannot see your bid or adjust theirs based on your offer.
When the auction closes, bids are ranked from highest to lowest. The lowest successful bid determines the final price, and every winning participant pays that same price.
For example, if you bid 15,000 cZAMA per NFT and the final clearing price is 10,000 cZAMA, you still secure your allocation but receive the excess 5,000 cZAMA back per NFT. Bids below the clearing price receive no NFTs and are refunded, while participants bidding exactly at the clearing price may share the remaining allocation proportionally.
The process starts with getting ZAMA, shielding it into cZAMA and submitting your sealed bid through the Genesis page. You'll also need a little ETH for gas. One important detail: bids are binding, and the encrypted bidding fee is non-refundable.
But the interesting application of FHE goes beyond the auction.
Every Genesis NFT is minted with its contents encrypted on Ethereum. Holders can privately view their NFT's artwork and decide whether to make it public. Its underlying essence, containing its class, stats and element, remains encrypted on-chain, with access controlled by its current holder.
This is where Zama's technology becomes particularly interesting. Smart contracts can process encrypted information without having to expose the underlying data.
There's also a 300,000,000 $FUNGO allocation for the ongoing X creator campaign, representing 3% of the planned 10 billion token supply. Connect your X account on the campaign page and submit your five best Fungo posts published from November 1, 14:00 UTC onward.
For some perspective, at a hypothetical $10M FDV, the creator allocation would represent $300,000. An equal distribution among 100 creators would amount to 3 million $FUNGO each, or approximately $3,000 at that valuation. Each Genesis NFT is also allocated 1,113,861 $FUNGO, equivalent to approximately $1,114 at the same hypothetical FDV.
Of course, these are valuation illustrations, not guaranteed market prices or individual rewards. The actual creator distribution has not been disclosed.
What I find worth watching is how Fungo is putting privacy to work across the entire experience, from the NFT's underlying attributes to the bidding process used to distribute the collection.
FHE has some fascinating possibilities for on-chain applications, and Genesis is an interesting demonstration of that.

10 BILLION $FUNGO. And 36% of the supply is going to Genesis NFT holders.
@FungoLabs has revealed its token distribution, and here's what you need to know.
Allocation breakdown:
> 36% for Genesis NFT holders
> 7% for Zama OG holders
> 3% for the X Campaign
> 10% for the team, locked for 12 months and vested over 36 months.
Genesis NFT holders will receive 1,113,861 $FUNGO each at TGE.
A few more details:
> Unclaimed tokens will be burned after the 7-day claim window.
> Team tokens follow a long-term vesting schedule.
> A significant allocation is directed towards the community.
Tokenomics aren't just about the total supply. Distribution, vesting and unlock schedules matter just as much.
$FUNGO is worth keeping an eye on.

imagine owning an NFT with secret powers that even you can't be tricked about, and that nobody can fake
incase you don’t know every @FungoLabs genesis NFT carries a hidden essence
it's encrypted from the moment you mint it, and there's no "reveal" button
here's the clever part, the game can still use those stats for fights and rewards without anyone seeing them
its like poker, where the dealer works out who wins and nobody shows their cards
you place a bid but someone sees it and they bid $1 higher and win
on most launchpads, that's normal because bids are public, so bots watch and jump ahead of you
@FungoLabs fixes this at the root, bids stay encrypted until the sale ends
–nobody can see what you bid, not other users, not bots, not even the team
–the rules are public, so anyone can check the sale was fair
–there’s nothing to copy and nothing to snipe
imo, fair launches shouldn't depend on who has the fastest bot.

can you sell an NFT and still peek at what's inside it?
not on @FungoLabs
because when a sealed NFT is sold, the old owner's viewing rights are cut off in the same transaction.
Only the new holder can open it.
The seller can't keep a copy of the secrets
The buyer gets the real thing
Privacy moves with the NFT, not with the person who sold it
Most NFTs only look rare. Fungo's stay private after every sale

first time folks minted an NFT and did not watched someone else get the rare one
on most projects, the traits can be read before or right after minting, so bots and insiders can check what's inside and grab the best ones first
the rest oget what's left, yesterday

want cash but don't want to sell your Bitcoin?
the usual options both come with a prize
– hand your collateral to a centralized lender and trust them with it, celsius and blockFi showed how that can end
– go DeFi, a no compliance layer, smart contract risk, and liquidations that trigger the moment the market wobbles
@Lendaryasia_ is trying a third route, it's's a live crypto backed lending platform that keeps collateral in segregated institutional custody and has no recorded defaults to date
it's also building toward CeDeFi, a compliance first, with on chain transparency and programmable controls
TGE and exchange listing are planned for November 2026
