3 PBMs control roughly 80% of the prescription drug market.
These middlemen decide what drugs are covered, which pharmacies survive, and how much patients pay.
It’s time to shine a light on their shady practices, restore fair competition, and bring healthcare costs down.

Apparently insurances aren't allowed to pay independent pharmacies at least the cost on any CGM products. It's a shame @dexcom @AbbottNews. No better educators for your product than an independent pharmacy. Can't afford to dispense.
Good Lord can we go back to the days where prescribers sent measurable doses??? No one needs that 0.1 ML they can't measure in 99% of medicine spoons/droppers

Imagine believing every scientist, toxicologist, and regulator is lying - but an anonymous Twitter account has the truth.
That’s not critical thinking.
That’s delusion.

Alligator Alcatraz was built in 8 days
It took just over a week to create a massive concentration camp
Remember this the next time those in power claim they can't house the homeless, feed the starving or provide medical care to the poor
They can, they don't want to

That's 17 MILLION lives Republicans are putting at risk.

I don't know who needs to hear this or who is confused about this issue, but here it is.
Health Insurance CEOs make north of $20million a year and only take actions that protect and increase their profits.
They don't volunteer to take actions that will help patients or physicians.
They were able to steer the Affordable Care Act in a manor that resulted in record profits.
If you think they are going to cut off the prior authorization policies that have made them rich you are mistaken.
Also, just becuase the CEOs tell you that physicians are the problem when it comes to approving prior authorizations, that is simply not true.
Quit blaming people who have to work in the terrible system that YOU designed.
And for the physicians in Congress and the Senate, stick up for physicians when they are denigrated by administrators or please quit telling everyone there is a doctor caucaus!@realDonaldTrump @realRFKJr @DrOzCMS @RepGregMurphy @RogerMarshallMD
So heartbreaking. Disgusting what the #pbm industry does to pad their bank accounts and make their stock holders happy
NBC Nightly News covered the heartbreaking story of our son, Cole Schmidtknecht, who died at 22 when his asthma medicine was denied. This is why we fight. #PBMReform #TrendingVideo #JusticeForCole #ViralStory

I am so sad about Pope Francis. In my lifetime he was my favorite and only hope and pray his successor continues his path of love and acceptance.
Pope Francis was the rare leader who made us want to be better people. In his humility and his gestures at once simple and profound – embracing the sick, ministering to the homeless, washing the feet of young prisoners – he shook us out of our complacency and reminded us that we are all bound by moral obligations to God and one another.
Today, Michelle and I mourn with everyone around the world – Catholic and non-Catholic alike – who drew strength and inspiration from the Pope’s example. May we continue to heed his call to “never remain on the sidelines of this march of living hope.”

From the U.S. Holocaust Museum:
"What distinguishes a concentration camp from a prison (in the modern sense) is that it functions outside of a judicial system. The prisoners are not indicted or convicted of any crime by judicial process."
Welp.

Dear Patients,
I don’t know how many of you need to hear this. GoodRx does not pay anything to your pharmacy towards the cost of a prescription. Read that again. Not a single dime ever, regardless of the medication.
Sincerely,
The Pharmacy Staff

What problem could you possibly have with PBMs?
-They pay the pharmacy at an egregiously low rate, saving costs.
-They then bill the insurance fund much more than a fair market value for that drug, which somehow also saves costs.
-They keep the difference between those two numbers, profiting enormously with the added bonus of eliminating their own pharmacy's competitors.
-They use that profit to encourage your legislators to maintain the status quo.
It's all on the up and up, no problem there...
Can't blame them. We've become a complete shit show
HOLY SH*T.
Canada just torched its alliance with the U.S.
Carney didn’t mince words:
“The old relationship we had with the United States—based on deepening integration of our economies and tight security and military cooperation—is over.”
That’s not a policy disagreement.
That’s a geopolitical divorce.
And it’s all unraveling in real time.
