The Ravens have one of the highest rates of 12 and 13 personnel usage in the NFL..
In these personnels week, with Huntley at QB, they had a pass rate over expected of -19.1%: equivalent to the lowest total PROE this season in these personnels (MIN)
In their matchup this week, they draw the Browns..
When facing 12/13 personnel, the Browns run 5+ defensive backs at the 2nd highest rate in the NFL (79.4%)
They also allow the 3rd highest explosive rush rate against these personnels…

Jalen’s issue has always been throwing with anticipation. That’s why he throws to the outside so often.
People in the replies seem to think Wicks would’ve gotten cracked. Not true if ball is there on time.
Hard to explain why this throw was turned down.
2nd and 10 and the Jags are showing 2-high presnap and play Cover 4 (no disguise).
The Eagles run a concept to conflict the MLB, with Ertz running a hook route to grab the MLB, and then Wicks running an in-breaker behind it. It works! Wicks finds a nice void in between the hash marks.
But Hurts is gunshy, turning it down in favor of the covered hook, which falls incomplete.

I was SO in on the Mannion hire, assuming he would forcefully create MOF reads for Hurts. Think Hurts is getting in the way of what Mannion was brought here to do.
Obviously injuries are bad right now, but I believe Hurts’ tendencies have made this offense collapse.
