In the old days the athletes got fast, won races, got some attention and got some brands to support them.
Now athletes try to get some attention, to try get brands to support them, to try to get fast, and try and win races.
The problem is there is only limited attention 👀
Why coffee ☕️ is so expensive .. and it’s not the raw materials (milk and coffee). It’s the staff. one person to take the order, a skilled barista, a few peeps in beanies to hang about and high5 the barista, a couple of others choose the playlist, and someone to present your cup
@DSS123 any perspective on the River Seine swim from a Paratriathlon perspective? Lots of talk about the poop but the flow is an issue and swim speeds are slower at 1:30/100m (1.5m/s) for @ClaireCashmore as an example
