As I said before, I welcome autonomous vehicles, but if they're privately owned, single-occupant vehicles rather than shared ones, they won't "solve" traffic in any way, shape, or form.

You have got to be f**king kidding me… an 18 hole golf course that fully absorbs the entirety of Hains Point. Disgusting and shameful acts by Department of Interior. We have been saying this for MONTHS.

📢BREAKING NEWS: County commissioners talk of mass transit authority after transit tax ‘lies’ Miami-Dade commissioners talked last week of creating an authority to drive mass transit spending after they and the mayor took turns accusing predecessors of lying to attain the current half penny transit tax though they knew it would never do the job they promised to voters. miamitodaynews.com/breaking/… #MiamiTodayNews #MiamiToday #Miami #CountyCommission #MiamiDadeTransit #PublicTransit

Is this... feasible? Could we do this on Miami Beach, under the MacArthur, until they figure out the #failed pedestrian bridge?

Future Vision Studios proposes the use of floating docks to temporarily connect the missing segments of the Baywalk. This simple solution is already used for the boat show. It can even be used in this location while the proper one is built.

An enduring photo - where once a mighty oak stood is no longer. Took all but 5 minutes to kill a 50+ year old tree. Nonstop destruction.

Love the stuff going up in Wynwood. Reasonable height and scale. When you work together, this is what you get. When you obstruct, and block -- you send up with state preemption and the live locals proposed for Miami Beach.
Wynwood Plaza is huge with a mix of retail (not yet open), offices and apartments. Love the plaza between buildings

Hains Point Hoopla 3.0 was great! So many people who care about this special place braved the ~not so great~ weather to stand up for what they care about. Huge thanks to @WABADC and @senatorjain for their continued partnership in the fight.

This was a great community-led event celebrating the completion of a new protected bike lane in South Beach. Thanks to everyone who attended and to Streets Blog for writing about it!
A citizen-led ribbon cutting for a new Miami Beach bike lane drew dozens of neighbors, exposing incompatible priorities from local electeds.
