winter just feels right for my land in Farming Season to winter, and I might keep it forever ❄️ @farmingseasonio added Village Seasons, so your farm doesn't have to stay in summer anymore. I recorded it as I did it, so you can watch my land change in the video 🎥 It's easy to do. Open the Town Hall or the shop's looks tab, and you can pick spring, autumn or winter. You get a season once, and after that you can switch between them whenever you like. Switching is free every time. That's the funny part, because I could go back to summer in a few taps, and I still don't think I will. Winter just feels right for my land. The first thing I wondered was whether it changes how the farm plays. It doesn't. It's looks only, so my crops and animals work exactly the same. That made the choice easy, since there's nothing to lose by trying a season. What I like most is that visitors see your village in the season you choose. So anyone who drops by sees my snowy version of the place, and that's the look I picked on purpose. My first thought when looking at the @RaidLords army? I need to stop thinking that sending more troops automatically means a better attack. 😅 Every troop has a different job, and picking the right mix can make a real difference in how I approach a raid on Robinhood Chain. ⚔️ Barbarian: A cheap, quick fighter that attacks the nearest building. 🏹 Archer: Attacks from range, but has low health. Keeping them behind tougher troops sounds like something worth trying. 🛡️ Giant: Focuses on defenses instead of ordinary buildings. This could be useful when I need to deal with the enemy's defensive structures first. 💰 Goblin: Goes straight for resources and the Keep, looting resources at double speed. 💣 Bombardier: Targets walls and blows holes to open a path for the rest of the army. The good part? Troop training is free, so experimenting with different combinations doesn't cost resources. The first 20 troops are ready immediately, while additional troops take time to train. I'm curious to try different combinations and see which ones work best against different village layouts. If you play RaidLords, which troop do you usually send first, and why?

I like strategy games where building a strong village is only half the job. You also have to defend it, train your army, and figure out how to take down someone else's village. That's what caught my attention about @RaidLords on Robinhood Chain. 🏰 ⚔️ Raids last 3 minutes, and there are 3 ways to win stars: ⭐ Destroy 50% of the village. 🏰 Take down the Keep. 💥 Destroy the entire village for 3 stars. 🏗️ Back at my own village, the Keep is the key to progression. New buildings wait for the next Keep level, so choosing what to upgrade matters. 🪖 I also like that training troops is free. The first 20 troops are ready immediately, while additional troops take a little time to train. 🤝 There's also a Clan system with up to 50 lords, Clan Wars, a shared Citadel, and Siege Weekend raids. I'm curious to see how much planning goes into building a village that's tough to attack while still being able to take on other players. 6 updates just landed in Farming Season on Robinhood Chain from @farmingseasonio, and I went through all of them so you can skip the digging 🌾 I sat down this week expecting a quick look and ended up with a proper list. I'm taking them in the order I'd try them as a player, cozy stuff first and competitive stuff last. 🥛 1. THE DAIRY Your barn finally has a purpose beyond storing milk. Once your Town Hall hits Lv 2, you can build a Dairy from the Shop under Build. The milk sitting in your barn gets sent to the pantry, and from there the Dairy turns it into something you can actually use. Those goods can fill requests on the order board or go up for trade at the market. 🧱 Needs Town Hall Lv 2 🧈 Butter: 1 milk, ready in 1 hour 🧀 Cheese: 2 milk, ready in 2 hours 📋 Use it on the order board or sell it to other players at the market 🧶 2. THE LOOM This is the Dairy's wool cousin, and it needs a bit more progress. At Town Hall Lv 3 you can build a Loom the same way, through Shop and then Build. Wool from your sheep pen goes to the pantry, and the Loom spins it into cloth. Two wool become one roll, so you'll want a decent pile before you start. 🧱 Needs Town Hall Lv 3 🐑 Wool travels from the sheep pen to the pantry first 🧵 2 wool makes 1 roll of cloth, ready in 2 hours 🛒 Cloth works for the order board or the market, same as the dairy goods 🔒 3. NFT PERKS AND LOCKING If you hold a Farming Season NFT, your perks are now live. There are two ways to get them going. The fast way is to lock the NFT for a set stretch of time, which switches everything on immediately and adds a bonus on top. The relaxed way is to do nothing and wait, because holding the NFT for 24 hours turns the perks on by itself. The catch with locking is that you're committing to it, since moving or selling the NFT cancels the lock. 📱 Open More (•••), find the Farming Season NFT card, pick your days, press Lock it 📆 Choose 7, 14 or 28 days 📈 Lock bonus: +5%, +10% or +15% on farming for those three options 🌽 Plus a 25% bigger harvest cap ⏳ Skip locking and the perks start after 24 hours of holding ⚠️ Needs Town Hall Lv 2+ and the NFT in the wallet you play with 🎁 4. THE NFT HOLDER BOX Think of it as a weekly gift for NFT holders. When Sunday 20:00 UTC hits, every holder gets a box, and every box has a prize inside. Where the prize lands depends on what you pull: SEASON drops straight onto your farm, while ETH or USDG goes directly to your wallet the moment you open it. A small number of boxes also hide a RaidLords whitelist spot, which comes in two flavors. THE WEEKLY ARENA CUP This one is all about skill. Everyone plays against the same 10-minute clock, so there's no gear or luck to lean on. You pay a $1 entry once per cup, then play Quick Battles as many times as you like. Only your best run gets scored, so a bad attempt costs you nothing but time. Players are ranked by how many enemies they defeat, and wave reached breaks ties. After the cup ends, the top 10 split 70% of the entry fees, and the remaining 30% goes back into the reward pool. Nothing gets burned. 🎟️ $1 entry, once per cup, Town Hall Lv 2+ 🔁 Unlimited Quick Battles, best run counts 🏁 Ranked by enemies defeated, then wave reached 🏆 Top 10 share 70% of entry fees, split 30%, 18%, 12%, then 9, 7, 6, 5, 5, 4 and 4% 🔄 The other 30% returns to the reward pool 🤝 Fewer than 10 entries?
