Having all the kids on this PP unit for the flyers have changed everything. The puck movement is phenomenal

This guy have given his whole self for this city. I want nothing more than for Nola to go out and shove for 6-7 innings of shutout baseball for this team. He will be in the Wall of Fame one day.
Aaron Nola in 2019: “Where I come from, people don’t really honk their horns much. In Baton Rouge we sit around a fire and talk life. Hot or cold. It doesn’t matter. It’s a sportsman’s paradise in Louisiana. So the first time I was able to really experience the city of Philadelphia, in 2014 after my season in Double A ended, it was kind of funny and stressful at the same time. Cars parked in the middle of the street. Horns honking every 10 seconds. People crossing at every light and corner. Street vendors and people traffic everywhere. And…. Me. A kid from Louisiana, fresh out of college. Far from home. Wearing some faded, broken-in jeans and an old hoodie. Standing in the middle of all that, laughing at myself and this place of chaos. I had never spent time in a large city before. I remember saying to myself: ‘This has got to be the biggest city in the world.’ Then at one point I started walking around trying to find something to eat, obviously having no idea where I am. It was raining and about 35°. Not knowing any better, I was walking close to the curb when a bus passed and hit a pothole. I got soaked. That was a great start to the day. Welcome to Philly, bud!.... I came to Philadelphia as a kid from Baton Rouge who’d never experienced life in a big city. And for a minute, when I was standing on that sidewalk, wet from getting splashed by a bus, it looked like a lot for me. But I can now say that I’m a better person because of Philadelphia, my teammates, and the people I have surrounded myself with. With the grace of God, it turned out I landed in the right place.” playerstribu.ne/Nola @Phillies | @MLB

Everyone over the Bohm hate now? Gotta say, told ya.

And in another shocking turn of events.. the defense lets them down. Still need to score more than a run as well, but that could be the worst attempt attempt at fielding a fly ball I have seen in a while.

Oh look.. more bad base running. Shocker.

I am ready for my Flyers hype video now

This kid man.. he just gets it. Flyers season starts tomorrow
“This is just a city of winners. I love it. People who hate to lose, who feel sick to their stomach when they lose. Those are my people.” @NHLFlyers forward Porter Martone wrote this for Philadelphia. theplayerstribune.com/porter…

That Michkov interview has me very impressed. Kid worked his ass off all offseason and then goes and gets enough grasp of the English language to do a full English interview. Kid is gonna have a huge year… mark my words

Luzardo has that dog in him. That is one hell of a start.

What a joke. Everyone associated with that play in the Michigan game should be fired. Absolute disgrace of college football.

This @Phillies season has had so many up and downs. I forgot that Adolis Garcia was on the team at the start of the year and is missing the rest of the season.

Painter absolutely shoved again.. guys need to start hitting for him. Kid is coming into his own though.

Ok can we just give Stott a gold glove already. Have mercy two outstanding plays in the 9th! @Phillies

Well look at that. Bohm Stott Crawford carrying the line up again. I’m sure they will still get hate, but they are carrying this team the last 35 games.

Is anyone actually shocked he was going to hold out for more money? He just saw the offered sheet they signed. And went radio silent in Philly… this is just who he is. Good luck with that.
It’s gonna get ugly in Anaheim. 😳💰 The Ducks reportedly offered Cutter Gauthier 4 years × $13M AAV, $52 MILLION total. Gauthier and agent Kurt Overhardt turned it down. That’s a monster offer to reject, especially with Anaheim already sitting at just over $9M in projected cap space. The Ducks would already need to clear roughly $4M just to fit a $13M AAV deal, and Gauthier’s camp apparently believes he’s worth even more. After a 41-goal season, Gauthier has plenty of leverage, and Anaheim has already committed enormous money to its young core. The Ducks now have to either raise the offer, change the structure, or start moving contracts. $52M turned down. Now this gets interesting. 👀🔥

So we took Sanchez out early.. hit into 4 double plays. And genuinely destroyed the ball at their outfielders all night. That will about sum up a loss for the Phillies this season.

Last 58 games Stott is hitting .299 with 23XBH. I don’t wanna hear that he has been a problem on this team. Guy is out there balling.

Oh look getting shut out once again… it’s like today was the deadline or something. Stott and Bohm have 2 of the 3 hits. Nola, rough early start but settled in and threw 6 innings.
