Everything about the situation screams “SPEED UP!”.
The moment, the pressure almost immediately, ALL WHILE drifting away from the target.
No panic. Perfect touch. Ballgame.
Again, he’s happy and he deserves to be. He’s a good football coach. Has his flaws, but you can’t take that away from him.
There will come a day when all the good he did for Penn State will be rightfully recognized and outweigh the negative feelings.
I’m not going to lie, when I see him all I can think of is still the pain of the most excruciating losses imaginable. Some his fault, some not. I can’t help but feel angry for all of us, him including. It’s going to take time.
All one can hope for is that one day he’ll return for the celebration of either the ‘16 or ‘24 teams and receive the biggest standing ovation. As he should. The 2nd best head coach in the history of Penn State Football. Glad he’s doing well.
