Happy New Year! This review has been published last year by our group, but it is still a good one for any newcomers who would like to learn more about the mixed-matrix membranes. More importantly, it has open access: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/…
Happy to get this message from Wiley #TopDownloadedArticle. The article link is aiche.onlinelibrary.wiley.co… @ASUEngineering @ASUChemEng

Our recent publication on AIChE J (aiche.onlinelibrary.wiley.co…), talks about the design, synthesis, and mass transfer modeling of a new adsorbent, which I hope to trigger more interests among peers to explore this kind of new composites. @ASUChemEng @SEMTEatASU @ASUEngineering
It’s time to end the obsession with college exclusivity washingtonpost.com/opinions/…
Today we had a farewell lunch for Prof. Veronica Burrows, retiring from @ASUChemEng @SEMTEatASU . Prof. Nielsen presented a gift from colleagues to Prof. Burrows. Many of us gave a speech and some told funny stories back to decades ago. Roni, congrats and happy retirement!😀
Had a great meeting of @NAMS2019 in Pittsburgh. Lots of learning and lots of interesting conversation! A picture with Prof. Jerry Lin and Prof. Dan Zhao. See all of you guys in Phoenix next year.@ASUChemEng
A big day for my PhD student, Dr. Bohan Shan; a balloon for my two-year-old, and a nice picture of us with Prof. Lenore Dai @SEMTEatASU @ASUChemEng
The week before, both my PhD student Dr. Bohan Shan and my Master student Mr. Sean Mcintyre have received Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award from @SEMTEatASU. Dr. Shan will join Intel soon. Big achievement and big congrats to both of them. Very proud of my students!
Congrats to my undergraduates John Nkuutu and Dillon Jayanthan on winning FURI Undergraduate Research Award from @ASUEngineering.
Very happy to have Prof. Randy Snull @RandallSnurr today to give us a great seminar about MOFs. So nice catching up, Randy!
Very happy to meet with Prof. Stefan Kaskel @kaskel who gave us a great seminar about porous materials today!
So proud of ASU and our engineering school to create such diverse environment and attract many talent people around the world! I am so happy to be able to work with them.😄
I didn’t seriously realize how diverse our school can be until I took a group picture few days ago. In my tiny small group, I got students from USA, China, Hongkong of China, Korea, Indonesia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Uganda. How amazing it is!
According to @BLS_gov, the U.S. will face a shortage of approx. 1 million STEM professionals by 2025. Dean @KyleSquires describes how he is leading the largest engineering school in the nation to tackle this problem in a comprehensive way. fullcircle.asu.edu/fulton-sc… #ASUEngineering
Glad to see more industrial collaboration opportunities in Chemical Engineering at ASU!😃
