Young people, don't ignore midterm elections. Policies have long terms consequences for u & ur voice needs to be heard. Ur voting rate is already low during presidential elections & I am scared how awful it would be during midterms. Please vote on 11/3 (early voting is easier)
Hey @OpenAI folks, why are you not responding to questions about what this means? If the "improve the model for everyone" setting is turned off, are you still using "de-identified data to improve ChatGPT." If so, exactly how?

Looks like u r being the example of what other fields accuse CS folks of: claiming to be arbiters of fields that u have not deeply studied. The text in the image I attach might look nonsensical or silly to many but this is the writing style in philosphy. Different writing norms.
No single person is responsible for this. But many online including mainstream news channels have harassed and mocked this guy relentlessly in a way I rarely see. Over the past ten years people lost track of any sense of decency online. RIP!

Good point. Agree that this is a limitation. We acknowledge it. For most purposes, between PubMed and Wikipedia, the coverage is reasonable for many known things (important for knowledge discovery). However, ttruly novel entities will pose issues & need further research. Thanks.
Today was my last session of being a standing panel member on the CDMA study section. It was highly time consuming but also rewarding. I reviewed nearly 100 grants (mostly R01s) & scored over 400 grants in clinical NLP/AI over the past 5 years. Thanks to the NIH & my department.
After a minor detour in Paris, I am back in KY as the inaugural DGS of our new PhD program in biomedical informatics and data science. Exciting and busy times ahead!
