#LCOYUg2026 is here! @gayouganda is proud to join partners for LCOY Uganda 2026, reaffirming our shared commitment to empowering young people to drive climate action, influence policy, and champion innovative solutions for resilient communities. As one of the country’s largest youth-led climate platforms, @LCOYUganda1 provides an opportunity for young people from across Uganda to come together, exchange ideas, strengthen their capacity, and develop a collective youth position that contributes to national, regional, and global climate conversations, including COP31. Through this partnership, we look forward to supporting an inclusive, youth-led process that amplifies local voices, showcases community-driven climate solutions, and creates meaningful opportunities for young people to engage with policymakers, practitioners, researchers, and development partners. @UNICEFUganda #LCOYUg2026 #YoungMindsGreenSolutions #ClimateAction #YouthLeadership #ClimateGovernance #GAYOUganda

We have implemented and tested game-changing actions and solutions. Under the #CASCADE project @FRAUGANDA , in partnership with @NPA_UG, have developed a Planner’s Guide and a Handbook on mainstreaming nutrition into #PDM with the @MoLGUganda. We have supported the orientation of key stakeholders in the Toro, Acholi, and Karamoja sub-regions to these tools. We now need to scale up these efforts and provide support to implementers in using them. @UNICEFUganda @ACFinUganda @WorldVisionUg

#Day1: Our Executive Director, Ms. @kiraboaggie, is participating in the SUN Civil Society Network Eastern & Southern Africa Regional Meeting held in Gaborone, Botswana under the theme “Strengthening Accountable Food Systems for Nutrition Security.” Key takeaways from the meeting included a strong focus on enhancing accountability for the #N4G commitments made earlier in 2025 in Paris. It was inspiring to engage with a strong regional network, sharing successes and practical strategies to overcome common barriers. Together, we reaffirmed our commitment to move from promises to action. #SUNCSN #SUNCSNUganda #NutritionForGrowth #N4G #FoodSystems #NutritionSecurity #Accountability #CivilSociety #RegionalCollaboration
