Hill I will die on. The best way to specify a battery for grid storage is rated power (MW) and hours of storage at that rated power (e.g. 8 MW, 4 hrs). MW alone or MWh alone don't give enough info.

You can either have new oil and gas or a liveable planet. You can’t have both.

Any deep sea mining for polymetal nodules is not an answer to mishandled terrestrial mining of metals. Reducing metals use in battery design like @BioZenBatt goes much farther towards sustainable energy storage.

Climate change isn't just an environmental issue; it is also an economic issue that makes us all poorer.
The subsidization of fossil fuels distorts the energy market and slows down the roll-out of renewable energy.

I'm a founder at a startup. Here's my daily routine 🧵
7am: I take out my retainer. My dentist says I grind my teeth at night but he doesn't get that the grind never stops
8am: I text my mom "gm wagmi". She responds telling me I'm almost 30 and should figure my life out.

Entergy lied to New Orleans, promising their new gas plants would keep the lights on in a storm.
Then they fought community groups who pleaded with officials to instead prioritize more resilient solutions like rooftop solar, batteries and microgrids.nytimes.com/2021/08/30/busin…

REMINDER:
Climate change is already happening: temperatures are rising, drought and wild fires are starting to occur more frequently, rainfall patterns are shifting, glaciers and snow are melting and the global mean sea level is rising.
