We're starting off our new bird of the month series with the incredible redshank! You can spot these beauties year-round, but we get extra birds visiting us in winter. Just look out for their brightly coloured legs, especially when the sun comes out and they really pop!

That's a wrap on the October 2026 Winter Walking Challenge! We had a beautiful final walk around Studland with a talk from National Trust about its coastal significance, a stop in the beaver hide, and some bird watching. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the walks 🦆🌞🌊

The winter Walking Challenge group walks got off to a flying start over the weekend at Corfe Castle! The theme was 'connecting with... your body' and we did just that, walking up hills and clambering over stiles 👏 Thank you to everyone who came 💚

We spent a lovely evening with Corfe Mullen Brownies teaching them about amazing coastal birds and epic migrations. What a wonderful group with some very dedicated leaders, who hopefully now know a little bit more about their local bird life 🦆🦅
