wif ran while everyone called solana a "useless casino".
neiro ran through the "fake neiro" fud with half of ct calling it "the wrong dog".
when everyone agrees an asset is "the future" all of the buyers have already bought.
so the more doubters something has, the more room for future buyers there is.
another layer to this is if the coin was able to generate hate it's capable of generating an emotional reaction.
hate is always better than "idgaf".
the next time your tl is laughing at a coin for no fundamental reason, look closer.

24 words control all your money. if anyone gets them, through a scam, a photo or a stolen notebook, the money is theirs.
keeping those words safe for years, and passing them on when you die, is hard. most people will slip up at some point.

the device has a weak spot too. you have to trust everyone who handled it before it reached you.
if someone tampered with it on the way, you’d have no easy way to tell.
newer wallets, like mpc and smart-contract wallets, fix this.
they split control across several devices or people, so there’s no single set of words to steal. if you lose something, you can still get back in.
regulated custodians go further. you can recover your account and your funds are insured, in exchange for trusting them.
