Ex-bitcoiner. We failed Satoshi & let Bitcoin get captured by the fiat complex. BIP-110 was our last chance. The separation of money & state was a naive dream.

Just look at what they have planned for BTC. ...and you thought you had escaped the FIAT circus. Better hold onto your XBT UTXOs...you may not have any BTC UTXOs if these clowns get their way.

“They would have earned a lot more money”. Oh yeah, they were under compensated. I have seen enough and am calling for it right here. Boycott Bailey’s Bitcoin show. Let’s see if we can’t run this clown out of the industry. We need to be self policing as an industry. No money into his pockets.

It's *not* an inside job. Andy wasn't running a Ponzi Scheme and Blockstream absolutely did *not* pull off a fake hack, stealing their own money and giving it back to themselves minus the money they needed (~$50m or so) to keep the game of musical chairs going. It's totally a thing for a "white hat" to take a $50m cut for themselves.

Not good. Just another reason the Alpha has left the building, and gone to Blake B2B
And now he’s on the Ocean Mining board. Did Tether complete their takeover of Ocean?

It’s a trade now… not a conviction. We are all trapped inside the Fiat Matrix now. Hopefully future generations can revive the protocol and with it, the idea that was Bitcoin: freedom money. The U.S. did what it was always going to do. It absorbed Bitcoin into the existing financial architecture and turned a potential escape hatch into another asset inside the system. But that isn’t the end of the story. The real question is whether centralized authorities can keep their fiat dog in the cage as the distortions compound, society fractures, and AI begins demonetizing the very control levers that made centralization possible. Because AI changes the equation. And the rise of decentralized AI changes it even more. It will increase the fluidity of power, weaken traditional gatekeepers, and challenge the basic architecture of how humans coordinate, interact, and influence one another. Bitcoin may have been captured for this era. That doesn’t mean the protocol or the idea behind it is dead. Freedom money may simply be waiting for a world decentralized enough to use it.
This is the first time I mostly hold BTC as an investment. For the NGU. Before, it was the biggest no-brainer far beyond that. It was the exit. The rock solid, unfuckable-with store of value. Separation of money from state. No third parties. Sovereignty. Digital truth in the form of a lean monetary ledger. Those qualities have, in my opinion, eroded a lot. Slow capture. More centralization. More relativizing and fiatizing of what Bitcoin is for. And there are seemingly no brakes. Just cheering when the people who still wanted Bitcoin to be money, not data storage, lost. Nodes decide, not miners. That used to be shared ground. Now it will get you ridiculed. I do not see the current trajectory, governance capture, or mining concentration reversing, not with the current attitude and behavior from the suits, the influencers and the social layer in general. That is why my faith in the project today is much weaker than it used to be. I am not calling the Blake2b chain Bitcoin. I am glad the fork happened. It is a live attempt to reassert principles a lot of us thought were settled: monetary protocol, hostile to spam, nodes enforcing rules, miners do not get to veto by selling block space for JPEGs and other non-monetary use. Whether it works at any meaningful scale is unknown. The energy around it is real. That resonates more with me than victory laps from people who treated BIP-110 as a joke and then celebrated when centralized hashpower blocked it. My position: I am not selling my BTC. I am not telling anyone else to sell. I intend to hold both sides for now. Nobody should be buying or selling either side of this split yet. The dust has not settled, liquidity is a joke, and rushed claim tools are how you lose funds. I urge everyone to make their own, well researched and responsible decisions. Most of my attention and interest now goes to the chain that still treats spam as spam, instead of inviting more of it and saying the debate is settled.

Can't wait for the Blake2B JPGS advertisements to show up in Suitcoin OP_RETURN. It's not spam , it has consensus from the miners and nodes that didn't URSF.

Day 3 and no takers. Crickets from all the SpamCoiners screaming about how worthless Blake2b is (I'm talking to you @BTCsessions and @DylanLeClair), and literally NO ONE is willing to sell their worthless "scamcoins" for 0.025 (~ $2,000) EACH in CoreCoin? What a pack of whining LARPers.

UPDATE: I'm willing to offer 0.025 Bitcoin-SHA256 per 1.0 Bitcoin-Blake2b to anyone willing to sell newly mined or split Bitcoin. DM if interested.

Mining pool decentralization comparison of the SHA256 chain and the Blake2b chain. If the Blake2b chain is a shitcoin... then that's some good shit. Follow the principles & fundamentals, not the narrative.

This embarrassing attempt at public humiliation isn’t aimed at Kratter. It’s aimed at everyone considering agreeing with him or questioning your narrative. You posted this thinking you’d mock Kratter. Instead, it clearly exposes you. “someone sent me this” because even you know how petty and cowardly it is.

Look at how the corporate capture narrative is being constructed: 1. Label core cypherpunk principles as dogmatic "Orthodoxy." 2. Reduce Satoshi to merely a "founder, not an oracle" to discard the mission. 3. Call the White Paper a loose "foundation" rather than the architectural blueprint. 4. Rebrand peer-to-peer cash as passive "Digital Capital" for balance sheets. 5. Treat self-custody as optional "risk allocation" while funneling retail into custodial paper. Saylor and Wall Street aren't evolving Bitcoin—they are attempting to domesticate it into the legacy financial architecture it was built to obsolete. Bitcoin doesn't answer to corporate treasuries, preferred debt tranches, or regulatory custodians. Hold your own keys, verify the ledger yourself, and reject the corporate rewrite. Recognize the shameless corporate grifter 🤡

Bitcoin is controlled by oligarchs. It has centralized mining pools. It has an implementation monopoly. It has a captured funding pipeline. It has concentrated merge authority with no accountability. It has no formal specification of its consensus rules. It has a governance process that routes legitimate challengers into chain forks instead of structural fixes. It has node operators permanently absorbing costs from non-monetary data they never consented to. It has a miner veto that exists in theory and almost never in practice. It has maintainers who suppress critics and ban dissent. It is jurisdictionally concentrated enough that a handful of subpoenas could reshape its development. It has stalled on every meaningful throughput and privacy improvement for a decade. It's still better than shitcoins.

Digital Assets compete in four markets: Digital Capital ($BTC) for wealth vs stocks, real estate, gold & art. Digital Credit ($STRC) for income vs bonds & private credit. Digital Money for savings vs money market funds & T-bills. Digital Currency for payments vs cash & deposits.
