Made it to Spain for totality. Not quite @AJamesMcCarthy but pleased to capture some corona and prominences. Quite the experience. And turned out to be a good omen for son‘s results too. #grateful

Finally a peek of Mercury. Perfect gap in the hedge 😄

In a lovely moment, Ibex post a 26 skills to place 5th with the skills queue getting shorter and shorter. A great testament to their skill and a super contrast to a difficult qualification session. Two teams in top 5 national skills. 👌

And finally on day one, despite some rotten luck in quals, Ibex are 5th in Skills with a super driven round of 46 - a season best for them.

Other teams having a great time - Ringo are sitting in 6th. A great place for an alliance.

For reasons unbeknownst to me, Icarus have arrived in their lab coats. Here, they are playing doctor on a broken intake. Not hindering too much. Top of skills today and sitting in 7th overall in quals. Will be an interesting day tomorrow.
