the final 16 mbs is coming to the block soon
Gm,
The Sheeple started after we had to let the real flock go.
Times were rough that year.
A multi-year drought killed our hay crop.
Lost income, and no feed for the winter.
My boys were devastated.
I didn't know what else to do.
So I drew them.
I made up characters and shared them with my boys every day.
Each one took 80 to 150 hours.
As the pen and ink flock grew, we mourned the real one a little less.
Then we gave them a permanent home.
Inscribed as 4-meggers on Bitcoin, forever.
Now they bring joy to my boys and anyone who looks at them.
And if times get hard again, the flock can still help carry the ranch.
There will only ever be ten.
They're not just sheep to us.
They're the flock we got to keep🐑

Gm,
I've been exploring the world outside the busts that make up my Four Megger Sheeple collection. It's happening through a series of pen and ink illustrations that only exist in my sketchbook. If you want to know what I plan to do with the originals. Simple answer. They're going to the Four Megger holders. Each one carries a small expansion of the story already being told
Well didnt think it was making it this long but still on the fronts of Ord.net with sheeple along side some other founder homies ive made over the years and im PRETTY pumped to see it.
Since a few people have asked:
the Sheeple collection is ten pieces.
That's all there will ever be...
Ten because that's the shape the story took, a beginning and an end. They started in grief and became the way through it, and closing the flock at ten closes that chapter the same way it opened. They're an immutable flock preserved on Bitcoin now, and they'll always mark that story.
Making them all 4meggers was part of it too an expression of scale for a story that felt that big, though it still doesn't hold all of it.
I set out to do something that hadn't been done, mostly because the edge cases are where I've found the most beauty. I made this collection for me first, to see what I was capable of, and whether anyone else would see what I see.
I hope they go out into the digital world and bring the people collecting them as much joy as they brought me and my family making them.
Most things we make are already dying the moment they leave our hands.
Paint fades
Servers die
Platforms change the rules
Attention moves on
Ordinals are different
They don’t ask the world to keep them alive
They don’t need a gallery to stay relevant
They don’t require anyone’s permission to continue existing
They just sit on the chain,
quiet,
patient,
waiting for whoever is still looking when everything else has been forgotten
That’s not hype
That’s not a market cycle
That’s the closest thing digital art has ever had to a real afterlife
Bitcoin doesn’t care if you believe in it
It just keeps the record
And somewhere in that record is a piece of someone’s soul that will outlast the person who made it
That’s the whole point.
This sale of this Red Eye is a great sign of the times, congrats to the collector and the seller.
This is very wild to see it next to the sale of my Sheeple piece.
Also wild history of this Red was that I used to own it before I was dumb enough to try a loan against it. Theres a lesson in here im sure.
Shout out to The @OrdinalMaxiBiz community for continuing to do their thing.

Art on Bitcoin
The Silk Road,
The only piece I have done using color, was inspired by @RealRossU and his being released from prison.
For many Bitcoin and irl transactions would never have made sense if the original concepts had not been pioneered on sites like his.
This piece faces you head on and such things often make humans uncomfortable but reality and the past can only be handled this way and thus you must face this piece as such too
One of the few pieces searching for a new shepherd
