Great to see a packed room getting it straight from someone who actually knows what he's talking about.
Yes, @BitcoinSafeOrg uses Compact Block Filters by default which will detect transactions in blocks. To also detects recently broadcasted transactions that are not yet confirmed, @BitcoinSafeOrg listens to the bitcoin P2P traffic.
Both are privacy preserving methods.
