You’re not a Democrat if you tell people to vote MAGA. Be serious.
I am a proud and loyal Democrat. I served in President Clinton’s National Security Council and worked for Madeleine Albright at the State Department. I ran for Congress as a Democrat, have voted Democratic all my life, and expect to continue doing so.
But I would never vote for Abdul El-Sayed. In my judgment, he does not represent the values of our party or our nation. I urge my fellow patriotic Democrats in Michigan to leave the Senate line blank or vote for Republican Mike Rogers.
This is an exceptional case, and I do not make this recommendation lightly. We can support Democratic majorities nationally while refusing to support a candidate who violates our core values. Loyalty to our party should strengthen our principles, never require us to abandon them.

Ausgerechnet @MdlBehrendt, die seit Jahren nahezu täglich gegen die LGBTQI+ Community Stimmung macht, sie diffamiert und ihnen immer wieder pauschal Pädophilie unterstellt,
inszeniert sich plötzlich als jemand, dem das Schicksal der Verletzten am Herzen liegt. Davon ist in ihrem Tweet kaum etwas zu erkennen. Ein kurzer Satz mit Genesungswünschen, gefolgt von einer Tirade, die das Leid der Opfer sofort wieder für die nächste Hetzkampagne missbraucht.
Den Verletzten gilt Mitgefühl. Ihnen gilt Solidarität. Nicht die Instrumentalisierung ihres Leids, um erneut gegen genau die Menschen zu hetzen, die an diesem Tag angegriffen wurden.
Wer jeden Tag gegen eine Minderheit Stimmung macht und die Opfer dann benutzt, um die eigene menschenfeindliche Erzählung weiter zu verbreiten, offenbart vor allem, dass es geht nie um die Opfer. Es geht nur darum, Hass weiter zu schüren.
Diese Heuchelei ist schlicht zum Kotzen.
