Maybe a cool idea for those kind of events (or any "what should we do in the game" poll), the player votes could actually have some sort of "weight" given to it, depending on the year the account was created in. The older your account, the more impactful your vote is.

Supercell really needs to learn that a game can't stay afloat by relying solely on a younger audience. The Scary Coffins event is concrete proof of how difficult it can be to communicate properly with players that young. Not only did they want to vote for the coffins in order, but now they also think the Crow and Kenji pins shown in the event represent their Skins rather than the Boss Fights. (And honestly, the devs are partly to blame for that too, since they didn't make it clear enough through those PNGs that they represented Boss Fights) Anyway the point still stands.
