the gag is, they can plot against you and still end up watching you win. you don’t need everyone to support you to succeed.

There are seasons where surviving is the achievement. Do not insult your progress because it wasn't glamorous.

The problem isn’t just men who expect women to serve them; it’s a society that raises boys to expect it and girls to accept it, then call it tradition.
Not every tradition deserves to be passed down.
This is how deeply some of us have normalized patriarchy in our homes. Women are raised to serve, while men are raised to expect it.
Even when everyone has worked all day, the women are still expected to handle everything while the men relax.
And the saddest part? We’re passing the same mentality down to our children and calling it tradition.
Why is a man’s rest considered normal, but a woman has to finish cooking, cleaning and attending to everyone before she’s allowed to sit down?
Cooking, cleaning and taking care of a home are basic life skills, not women’s responsibilities.
We really need to stop raising boys who think marriage means having a woman to serve them.

Keep preparing, even when nothing seems to be changing. The next season could reward every sacrifice you have made. Don’t let one difficult chapter convince you the whole story is over. Stay faithful to the process. Your breakthrough might be closer than you think.

We could have an instant connection and I’d straight up ghost the next day, as much as I want you, I’d lose interest when it feels too easy.
