BIG BREAKING 🚨
DUBAI NOW ACCEPTS #BITCOIN & CRYPTO FOR REAL ESTATE PURCHASES .

There is currently about $100 trillion of currency circulating globally. About 30% of this is in US dollars.
Meanwhile, 99% of stablecoins are backed by US dollars due to consumer preferences/demand.
Therefore, you could argue that the addressable market for stablecoin issuers such as Tether is $70 trillion. With $120b of outstanding supply, Tether has penetrated less than .17% of its addressable market.
Yet it is arguably the most successful company in the world right now in terms of revenue/employee.
____
I put together a dashboard on Token Terminal covering Tether that includes the following:
1. Tether Overview + KPIs
2. Business Model & Financials (including reserve allocations)
3. Economic drivers
4. Market share breakdown by chain
5. Addressable Market
6. Competition
7. Risks
If you’d like to access a link to the dashboard, see the first reply below.

With AVAX’s ACP-77 update, L1s gain complete validator control.
Validators are among the most important actors in crypto. But what is a validator? And how do they work?
The definition of validator changes depending on what kind of blockchain we’re talking about.
Bitcoin was the first blockchain, and it used a Proof-of-Work (PoW) protocol to validate transactions. Bitcoin validators (also known as miners) were required to solve complex mathematic equations in order to validate transactions and create new blocks. They are rewarded on-chain for solving these equations
But the computers capable of solving these equations (mining rigs) are expensive and energy-intensive.
The superior option is Proof-of-Stake (PoS) where token holders stake their tokens in order to validate transactions. Validators require a certain amount of a token to qualify, but these tokens can come from a number of different sources all pooled together.
PoS validators not only verify transactions (that the buyer of an NFT actually holds sufficient funds to purchase the asset, for example) but secure the network from malicious transactions like double purchases. Validators that validate malicious transactions will lose their staked coins.
Validators also validate smart contracts, automating their execution.
As transaction frequency increases on the chain, generated rewards increase, more tokens are staked as a result, and the token price increases proportionally.
The threshold for validation is different for every blockchain. For example, AVAX validators are required to stake 2000 $AVAX to validate the main-chain.
But if AVAX L1s are going to function as independently, permissionlessly, and uniquely as possible, they need to be able to set their own validator parameters!
This is exactly what the ACP-77 upgrade allows! L1s that determine their own validator metrics essentially function as independent L1s while maintaining access to the liquidity, dev support, and app ecosystem on AVAX.
And because Landslide is connecting the ecosystem of AVAX L1s to the entire $131-billion Cosmos ecosystem, crosschain liquidity and interoperability increases exponentially.

VITALIK BUTERIN PROPOSES SSF MECHANISM TO REVOLUTIONIZE ETHEREUM'S TRANSACTION SPEED
- Ethereum co-founder @VitalikButerin proposes a shift in Ethereum’s roadmap with the introduction of Single-Slot Finality (SSF).
- Buterin aims to tackle current consensus challenges, aiming for faster transaction speeds while maintaining stability.
- Buterin critiques Ethereum's epoch-and-slot system for its complexity and slow finality of 12.8 minutes, which he acknowledges inconveniences users.
SSF Mechanism:
- Inspired by Tendermint, SSF streamlines transaction confirmations by completing each block as soon as it's produced, slashing transaction times from minutes to milliseconds.
- This innovation promises enhanced user experience and efficiency, crucial as Ethereum continues to navigate scalability challenges amid growing adoption.
- Buterin and the Ethereum community are reportedly refining the SSF mechanism to optimize performance and address network overload concerns, notably through the Orbit SSF proposal.

Curious about the distribution and circulating supply of $INJ?
The latest paper on INJ tokenomics provides an in-depth look at the genesis distribution and vesting schedule that underpin Injective’s economic model.
Here are the key details:
At the Token Generation Event (TGE) on October 21, 2020, INJ had an initial supply of 100 million. This supply was strategically allocated across various categories to ensure balanced growth and community engagement.
By January 2024, the entire initial supply of $INJ was 100% unlocked and circulating, marking a significant milestone.
The careful planning behind the genesis distribution and vesting schedule of $INJ plays a crucial role in supporting Injective’s sustainable growth and ecosystem development. For more insights, stay tuned for future posts, or read the full paper for yourself!
