Some sad news: I’ve just learned that I.M. Pei died last night, at 102. The end of an architectural era, truly. A sad moment, but a career—and a life—worthy of celebration.
Inspired by @filmspotting and @LarsenOnFilm and their recent show, I am finally catching up with Duncan Jones’ Moon. #NowPlaying #Blindspot #cinephile
Ready for a British drama in this cold Chicago evening. “Mary Queen of Scots” by Josie Rourke. It seems appropriate. #NowPlaying #MaryQueenofScots #SaoirseRonan
Another night for movies. Time to get cozy and watch #RobertRedford is what he claims to be his final screen role in 2018’s well-received ‘The Old Man & The Gun’ #nowplaying #cinephile
Don’t feel like watching anything too serious today. So, I’m giving Drew Pearce’s #HotelArtemis a shot despite the lukewarm critical reception. #NowPlaying️ #cinephile
The #BAFTA nominations were announced. Congrats to all...ahem...where’s #EthanHawke in First Reformed or #JoaquinPhoenix in You Were Never Really Here. The #GoldenGIobes are the wrong trendsetters...
What to do on a lonely and cold January night? Watch a film. #NowPlaying is Debra Granik’s well-received #LeaveNoTrace released in 2018. #cinephile
Decided to catch #TheFavourite at the theater rather than watch the #GoldenGIobes. I haven’t seen the two Best Picture winners, but I doubt either of them were as devilishly awesome as #YorgosLanthimos latest. 4/5 rating
How best to start the year than a pulpy thriller by the twisted hand of Drew Goddard? Now playing: Bad Times at the El Royale. #movienight #NowPlaying #cinephile
