NEW: Joel Klatt says there are scheduling agreements in place for when the College Football Playoff officially expands👀
"The next thing that will happen almost immediately is we’re going to get scheduling agreements between the SEC and the Big Ten. Top-end matchups, mid-tier matchups, low-end matchups, and we’re going to be expanding the valuable matchups in the non-conference, far surpassing what we have now."

Throwback Thursday — Crabtree’s Catch (2008 Texas vs Texas Tech)
Throwback Thursday to the night Lubbock turned into absolute chaos — the 2008 showdown between No. 1 Texas and No. 7 Texas Tech, a game that still feels like a fever dream every time you think about it. I remember the buildup like it was yesterday. Both teams 8‑0. Both fanbases convinced destiny was on their side. Mack Brown’s Longhorns walking in with that No. 1 swagger, and Mike Leach’s Red Raiders ready to prove the country had been sleeping on them. And from the opening snap, Tech played like a team possessed. The crowd was shaking the stadium, the defense flying around, and when they tackled Chris Ogbonnaya in the end zone for a safety, you could feel the momentum explode. Suddenly it’s 19–0, then 22–6 at halftime, and Texas Tech looked unstoppable. But then the game turned into a highlight reel. Texas answers with a 35‑yard punt return TD that flips the energy. Tech fires back with a pick‑six that sends the stadium into orbit. Texas responds with Malcolm Williams going full superhero — a 37‑yard TD, then a 91‑yard TD that made you think the Longhorns were about to rip the heart out of Lubbock. And when Vondrell McGee punched in a touchdown with 1:29 left, giving Texas its first lead of the night, you could feel every Tech fan holding their breath. 33–32. Everything on the line. Then Graham Harrell steps onto the field like he’s walking into a moment he already knew was coming. He works the ball down the field, calm as ever, trying to set up the field goal. And with 8 seconds left, he throws a pass that should’ve ended the game — Blake Gideon nearly intercepts it, the ball slipping through his hands like fate had other plans. One play later… destiny arrives. Harrell fires to Michael Crabtree on the sideline. Crabtree snatches it, spins, somehow stays inbounds by inches, and tiptoes into the end zone for the game‑winning touchdown. The stadium erupts instantly — fans storming the field, bodies everywhere — only for officials to stop everything and review the play. The field clears. Everyone waits. Then the ruling comes in: touchdown confirmed. And Lubbock explodes again. Fans rush the field a second time, louder than before, celebrating one of the biggest wins in Texas Tech history. 39–33. A night that didn’t just define a season — it became a legend. One of the greatest finishes ever witnessed in @CollegeFootball. #TBT #TexasTech #Texas #Crabtree #GrahamHarrell #Big12 #CollegeFootball #CFB

Magic Monday goes to a receiver who took over the entire game — Oregon State WR Jesse Legree 🔥
10 catches • 191 yards • 19.1 AVG • 3 TD • long of 71 Legree was unstoppable — explosive after the catch, deadly downfield, and the go‑to weapon every time the Beavers needed a spark.
Oregon State’s offense rolled behind his dominance, and Legree made it clear he’s one of the most dangerous playmakers in the country.
Magic Monday belongs to No. 12. #MagicMonday #OregonState #Beavers #CFB
