There's been relatively little for me to report recently as the trains have been so empty, but I nearly had to ask for a seat this evening for the first time in almost 2 years
I managed to manoeuvre to one further down the carriage, but very glad of my #PleaseOfferMeASeat badge
Got priority seats on both trains today, but gosh it's hot and hard with a mask in the heat.
Any tips from #POTS or #Dysautonomia folks on how to cope? #NEISvoid
On the way home now in rush hour and pleased to get a priority seat with plenty of space as the train was quite empty #PleaseOfferMeASeat
After a long hiatus I'm heading back on the trains. I now have to go back to face to face teaching which is a little daunting, so I'm hoping it all goes smoothly #PleaseOfferMeASeat #SunflowerLanyard #InvisibleDisability
Tfw you have to keep unchecking symptom boxes on the econsult for the gp so it will stop telling you to go straight to A+E

ICYMI, I've been doing #AccessibleAdvent in #Academia, sharing ideas of how to make classrooms and events more accessible
Day 1 #AccessibleAdvent in #Academia
Have a chat with your students at the start of your course and let them know what accommodations you can make without official documentation e.g. using large print, a different font, a different colour

Please do this survey if you have dysautonomia or have long COVID!
Replying to @bennessb
@bennessb hi! chronically ill #dysautonomia person with Journo Aspirations looking for survey participants - especially if you've had #longCOVID - could you please share with followers? bit.ly/3dyjmI5 #journorequest @Dysautonomia #neisvoid
Super pleased that @TfLAccess are on it with badges for people who can't wear masks #InvisibleDisabilities
The #PleaseOfferMeASeat badge was really helpful for me when I was travelling in to work

Today I'm at the hospital for am MRI, I was quite anxious about going to the hospital at the moment #ChronicLife
The scanner bed moved a few times during the scan so it could change my position, which was a bit disconcerting to start with, but i gradually got used to it, and to keeping my elbows well in
